Das Editorial dreht sich um den FS X, der von Microsoft überraschend ins Stammhaus zurückgeholt wurde und um das, was aktuell zum FS 2020 bekannt ist.

In der Rubrik Aktuelles geht es um eine kleine Sensation, die Flugsimulatorkonferenz von Aerosoft namens "Nordic Conference" am Flughafen Bremen am 29. Februar und 1. März 2020.

In den Kurzmeldungen wird unter anderem (!) über "teure Irrlichter", über "schrägen AI-Verkehr", den "Besserflieger" Carenado F50 für X-Plane 11, den "Drehwurm" aka (trockenen) Schnapskompaß von Schillermetall und den "einsamen Airport" St. Johns auf Neufundland in Kanada berichtet. Hingewiesen wird außerdem auf das Jahresinhaltsverzeichnis 2019 des FS MAGAZINs - Link siehe unten.

In Sachen Szenerien wird beispielsweise über Edinburgh und Belgrad Airport von Orbx, Dublin von MK Studios und Chania berichtet. Außerdem ist da noch das Special über Kolumbien und die Vorstellung der Freeware Hawaii Photoreal.

Mangels relevanter Neuerscheinungen stellen wir als einziges Flugzeug "Heinemanns heißen Ofen", die TA-4 Skyhawk vor.

Markus Slattner hat einen überraschenden Hubschrauber gefunden, die Robinson R44.

Die Ground Services X (GSX) von FS DreamTeam haben einen Konkurrenten bekommen - zumindest was das Push Back angeht: Ultimate Ground Crew X (UGCX) von FS2Crew. David Marx hat sich das Tool angesehen, das "bei der Stange bleibt".

Hardware:  Dr. Peter Keil schließt seine Arbeit "Kein Hexenwerk... PC selber bauen" mit dem zweiten Teil ab.

Die Redaktion war mehr als 2.000 Kilometer und 14 Fahrstunden unterwegs: In der Rubrik Szene berichten wird über das FS Weekend in Lelystad (Niederlande) und das Flightsim Weekend in Hergiswil (Schweiz).

Für den X-Plane 11 stellt Dr. Mario Donick die Payware SFD Global und die Freeware VFR Objects vor. Es folgt der Bericht über die "steilen Flugplätze in Savoyen", Courchevel und Méribel. Ingo Voigt hat sich die griechischen Flughäfen Athen, Chania und Heraklion angesehen. Hans-Joachim Marks wühlt sich durch das (verwirrende) "volle Programm" der Boeing 757 v2 Professional. Ingo Voigt schließlich zeigt uns die B58 von Carenado mit dem Reality Expansion Pack (REP) von SimCoders und Thomas Glaudo weiß Neues zum "Teppichklopfer", der UH-1, zu berichten.
