Sir Seretse Khama International Airport (IATA: GBE, ICAO: FBSK), located 15 kilometres (9 mi) north of downtown Gaborone, is the main international airport of the capital city of Botswana. The airport is named after Sir Seretse Khama, the first president of Botswana. It was opened in 1984 to handle regional and international traffic. It has the largest passenger movement in the country. In 2017 the airport got its first special economic zone which will house in the following departments: CAAB, Botswana Innovation Hub, ITPA and diamond hub for diamond sector.

Gaborone, the capital of Botswana, is located on the southeast border of Botswana and the highland at the upper reaches of the Limpopo River, only 18 kilometers away from the South African border. The urban area of Gaborone covers an area of about 11 square kilometers. The terrain is flat, and the southeast suburb is a small discontinuous mountain range. The surrounding area is one of the important agricultural and pastoral areas with lush grass.In the past, it was a deserted jungle. Construction was started in 1964, and it was named after Gaborone, the chief of the Trova tribe and the national hero who fought bravely with the South African colonialists. On December 26, 2019, it ranked 394 on the 2019 Global Top 500 Cities List.

I really enjoy flying in Botswana, really nice scenery.

The dynamic light at night is a little bright, but this does not affect that it is definitely a good scenery. If you like flying in Africa, I highly recommend this.
