Ajaccio-Napoléon-Bonaparte International Airport1 (IATA code: AJA • ICAO code: LFKJ),
still usually called by its former name "Campo dell'Oro", is an airport in the department
of Corse-du-Sud, located in the east of the territory of the commune of Ajaccio,
five kilometers from the city center. The airport area is bordered to the southeast by the Gulf of Ajaccio.

This aerodrome is open to national and international commercial traffic,
scheduled or not, to private aircraft, to instrument flight (IFR) and visual flight (VFR).
It has a runway 2,407 m long and 45 m wide oriented NNE-SSW (02-20) and a short,
disused runway, oriented East-West.

It is managed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ajaccio and South Corsica
(like the Figari Sud Corse airport).

5 étoiles? Rien de plus normal. Et si on pouvait en mettre 10 ce serait mérité ! Cet aéroport est l'aboutissement de tout le savoir faire accumulé depuis des années dans la réalisation de 10zaines d'aérodromes: Figari, Calvi, Barcelonnette, St Crépin, etc... sur X-Plane, comme sur P3D, MSFS20. Impossible, en observant les détails, la fluidité, qui elle aussi est au en rendez-vous, et le réalisme obtenu, de trouver de réelles critiques. Et en plus, le prix est tellement bas, par rapport à la qualité, que ce serait dommage de ne pas l'avoir sur son simulateur. Là, avec LFKJ, on est sur du TOP Niveau !

Great scenery! As real Pilot flying there, I truly feel the immersiveness the scenery provides. Special about Ajaccio is certainly the beautiful terrain arround the airport. FSX3D delivers the whole experience! Included are different options to enhance the terrain and imagery. The provided Ortho patch (my option of choice) works perfectly.
