Barcelonnette - Saint-Pons Airport (IATA code: BAE • ICAO code: LFMR)
is an airport in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence department.
Located in the commune of Saint-Pons, it has an 800 m runway,
but no lighting. A gliding centre uses it.
Location:
The aerodrome is located 3 km west of Barcelonnette on the edge of the Ubaye
and on the former alluvial fan of Riou Bourdoux in the commune of Saint-Pons.
Approval:
Barcelonnette-Saint-Pons Airport is on list no. 1 (aerodromes open to public air traffic)
of aerodromes authorised as of 31 January 2010 (decree: NOR: DEVA1012766K )2.
This aerodrome is open to national commercial traffic, private aircraft and day VFR.

The aerodrome has a paved runway oriented 09/27 (QFU 092/272) 800 m long and 30 m wide.
The runway is located at an altitude of 1132m3.
The airport has no lighting and is therefore not approved for night VFR or IFR.
Refueling with AVGAS 100LL and TRO is possible for civilians and military.
There is no customs or police, but a level 1 SSLIA.
No control service, traffic is carried out by the self-information frequency: 123.500 Mhz.
The aerodrome manager is the Barcelonnette gliding center.
