Let me introduce Fire Fighting, a plugin developed for X-Plane 12, currently available for
Windows only.
Main Features
• Instantly create a fire anywhere in the world.
• 5 fire sizes available, from the smallest to the most intense.
• Each fire requires a predefined number of drops to be extinguished.
• A voice message confirms the complete extinguishment of a fire.
Water Drop and Interaction
• The water drop effect includes both visuals and sound, for more realism.
• The drop can be triggered via:
◦ A custom key
◦ A joystick button (configurable in X-Plane settings)
• A custom command controls the effect and interacts with the fires.
• Compatible with all aircraft—even those that are not dedicated water bombers.
Note:
The default drop command in X-Plane also works with existing water bomber aircraft.
In that case, only the native aircraft effect will be visible, but fire extinguishing remains functional
with the plugin.
Current Limitations
• No scooping capability in this initial version.
A refill gauge will be added in a future update.
