KCMH Port Columbus John Glenn International Airport (IATA: CMH, ICAO: KCMH, FAA LID: CMH), is a Class C international airport located 6 miles (9.7 km) east of downtown Columbus, Ohio, USA.
It is managed by the Columbus Regional Airport Authority, which also oversees operations at Rickenbacker International Airport and Bolton Field.
The airport code 'CMH' stands for "Columbus Municipal Hangar," an old name for the airport
Airport looks good graphically but unfortunately from a layout/navigation standpoint it is incomplete. The gates and taxiways are missing key connections and designators. This makes the airport essentially unusable with products such as MyTraffic, VoxATC and GSX. Also, the ILS frequency is incorrect on runway 28L/10R.
The developer has responded in a timely manner so hopefully these issues will be fixed soon.
This is what I'd expect for the price. Although I've never flown through CMH in RL, the scenery is up to par with other less expensive scenery publishers.
It has let me complete my "Three C" collection for Ohio.
Because of price and relatively good quality, 4 stars. Generally a good effort guys, now please do KCOS :)
Finally, my home airport, KCMH! I've been waiting a very long time for this one. The developer is very responsive, scenery is framerate friendly, but may need updated down the road as many changes are going on there currently. Overall very nice scenery with reasonable price. Nice connection airport for American, Delta, Northwest, Southwest, Frontier, US Airways and Air Canada Jazz Connections, and I've even seen American Trans Air L-1011 Charters on the parking ramp as well as Air Force one, (most airliners into KCMH are B737, occasionally Delta B757, Airbus A319,A320, A321(not sure) Emb-135, Emb-145, Emb-175, Dash8-Q200 and I actually flew down from KDTW on a Fokker F27-200 NWA a few years back, not to mention many GA and Corporate flights. I would just like to see a city scenery of downtown Columbus (with OSU Stadium on 10L approach)made along with Rickenbacker, OSU and Bolten Field airports to complete the four airports in the Columbus area. I would definitely recommend to everyone that likes to fly into and out of Ohio. James Henson
