First of all, I would like to thank the developer for the Syracuse Hancock Airport. I feel deeply connected to Syracuse and finger lakes area, so I'm glad I can make few flights to and from this airport.
However. Just like one of the pilots before me, I think, the price for the quality if too much. I know, the airport has been released some years back, but I had to spend another 5-6 hours working on afcad file (adjusting gates, adding missing airbridges, hazard lights and also apron lights, as these do not show in my sim for some reason).
I visited Hancock airport in late Autumn of 2019 during snow blizzards so I was hoping, come winter, I will be able to do some nice winter flights only to discover, that the ground textures are for summer time only! So in order to do winter flights, I had to remove some of the original files and work on landclass from scratch. Not something I was expecting to do after paying for the airport.
So, all in all, I took one star for afcad I had to adjust, one for land class I had to do myself and one for lack of winter textures.
I'd first like to say thank you to the developer for creating my humble home airport! However I do have some constructive criticism for them just from looking at the screenshots. The control tower isn't accurately modeled. There are several images of the real tower online. Runway 15-33 isn't properly marked. Both ends of the runway is marked as a non-precision approach runway with threshold and touchdown zone markings only. Once again thank you for developing my home airport and I hope to see these changes made to create a more true to like Syracuse!
This airport addon is pretty good, although the textures of buildings, etc are not quite up to what one expects of airports developed for FSX today, being more reminiscent of airports developed during the FS9 era or before. This developer seems to be producing a considerable number of very welcome new 'secondary' airports but I feel, for their quality their price is a little on the high side and I would suggest that they might achieve a much larger volume of sales by dropping their asking price by a few dollars.
