Nemuro Nakashibetsu Airport (RJCN) is located in Hokkaido, Japan, and is the easternmost airport in the country that serves commercial flights. It lies about 4 kilometers northwest of Nakashibetsu town center, surrounded by vast grasslands. The airport provides important access to the eastern Hokkaido region, including the Nemuro area and the Shiretoko Peninsula, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
