Fly over the whole state of The Northern Territory of Australia in 15m True Color satellite. In Version 2, the Imagery has been re-sampled to form a composite blend with your default or add-on land class scenery below and around your aircraft whilst giving a gradual transition to the imagery further out from your aircraft. Any transition is hardly noticable depending upon the quality of your underlying land class scenery. The Northern Territory covers a vast area of 1.348 million k2, almost twice the size of Texas, of unique landscapes from tropical coasts in the north and red desert in the south. Two options are installed, Level Of Detail (LOD) 12 and LOD 13. LOD 12 shows any autogen in your underlying land class scenery, whilst LOD 13 will show the detail textures of the landclass only giving better pc performance..
The goal of Gibson Sceneries is to cover large areas of real scenery at economical prices for the flight simulator enthusiast or professional whether it be for simulating fast Tactical Jet Fighters, Military Transport flights, Commuter and Domestic Airline flights or General Aviation Aircraft flying at medium to highaltitudes.
The scenery is perfect for enroute flight simulation. Take-off from a detailed airport, climb and flyen-route over "real" world scenery then descend into one ofyour other detailed airports. Airports are not included. Version 2 is now suitable for low level VFR flights in slow aircraft due to the higher resolution composite around the aircraft seen at lower altitudes.
The scenery adds to the realism of simulated flight whether it be for recreating historical missions, commercial airline flights, military training or general aviation interest.
The coastal imagery is used in a water mask to give a natural "real water" look to the coastlines.
No night lighting is included.

Truly beautiful scenery! I often fly long haul's over Northern Territory into Asia and comparing to ORBX I much rather prefer Gibson Sceneries! I would highly recommend this scenery for anyone way in out or over the NT!
