Initially introduced around September of 1928 the first model of the "Bird" Model A was introduced, powered by the ubiquitous Curtiss OX-5 . Essentially a "Sesqui-plane", 70% of its lifting area is in the thick centered upper wing. Formally introduced at the 1929 National Air Races held at Cleveland Ohio, the Bird generated a good deal of interest with its character and exceptional performance demonstrating short take off and slow speed characteristics unlike its contemporaries. The "Bird" series included the models A, BK, CK and lesser known models AT, CC, CJ, RK, E and F. The most numerous manufactured, and most widely flown, were the models A, BK, and CK. Developed with accuracy in appearance and performance in mind, the Golden Age Simulations Brunner Winkle Bird is presented in land plane, and, in the case of the Model CK, float plane configurations. The simulator pilot has the options of flying the aircraft fully laden, with passengers, or solo. The aircraft is fully animated with tool tips active, in the VC cockpit, for all animated parts. It is fully compatible with all versions of FSX and P3D.

What a nice piece of history in flight. This is one loaded package. You get a few different models, lots of nice liveries, and some extra add on scenery as well. The 3 different models each look and fly great. There are some noticeable differences in flight characteristics for each model as well.
Slow but responsive and predictable is the name of the game with these birds.
The two included add on sceneries are fair but a nice addition. There is a third scenery offered for free that you have to download and install separately and the link for it can be found in the included manual. This 3rd scenery pack is the best of the 3 depicting a vintage airfield with a fair like atmosphere. Highly detailed small buildings and some hangars to park in with several classic planes of the era lining the inner field.
Based on use with FSX Steam 3.2ghz, win 10, i7, 16gb RAM, UHD630 integrated GPU (set to run equivalent 512mb VRAM) average game graphics settings *medium high to high.
Recommend lower graphics settings if using high weather details during flight at Hicksville add on, or other add on scenery is near by such as Manhattan or NY City airports etc.
Must have for all vintage aircraft lovers.
