Product Description:

The Porterfield Collegiate is an American-built two-seat training and touring monoplane built by the Porterfield Aircraft Corporation of Kansas City.

Developed originally as the Porterfield Zephyr, under Approved Type Certificate (ATC) 2-530,[2] it is a light-weight version of the earlier Model 35 Flyabout for use as a pilot trainer. Powered by a 40 hp (30 kW) Continental A-40 engine it was later re-designated the Porterfield CP-40.  To improve performance, under ATC 690, the engine was replaced with a 50 hp (47 kW) Continental A50-4 engine and re-designated the CP-50 Collegiate. It is a braced high-wing monoplane with a tail skid fixed landing gear. The two bracing struts run in parallel from the bottom of the fuselage and the tailplane was fixed to the top of the rear fuselage. Due to the narrowness of the fuselage, particularly to the rear of the cabin, the type is nicknamed "Skinny Bird".  In 1940, under ATC 720,[2] the power was again upped to the popular 65-horsepower Continental A-65, pushing cruise to 100 mph, with a 500-pound useful load permitting a 300-statute-mile range.

Though roughly in the same general class with the tandem-seat Piper Cub, Aeronca Champ, and Interstate Cadet -- and the side-by-side seating Aeronca Chief, Taylorcraft BC-12D and Luscombe 8 -- the tandem-seat Porterfield is visually distinguishable from them by its twin parallel wing struts on each side (compared to the V-shaped struts on the other planes), and by its largely symmetrical airfoil wing

TABURET - SCOTLAND DEM 15 M RESOLUTION MSFS
Thorsten
I downloaded this mesh and agree to the other review. The 15 M mesh is definitely a better resolution which makes the bens and monroe slightly rougher than the soft touch they get from MSFS. It still is way rougher once you see it in real and I live there. However-
, what's annoying me, my home hill and so many other higher bens show these waves, kind of 15 meter waves across steep inclines or, like in my case, left and right diagonally. Flying with an ultralight low and slow, they become unbearable to look at. If it would be the occasional bum here and there one wouldn't notice it but waves belong on the water, sorry guys, for a pay version not great. I would be happy for any update and improve my rating.

A lot of hard work went into this project and not sure what the mechanics of the addon are but I understand there are limitations set by Asobo. What I am seeing is areas where if the photo tiles are dark they display thousands of trees. So you get these weird islands of dense forests in places like deserts. Specifically east of Tucson Arizona. Asobos AI some how ignores that darker tile and puts the right ground cover down. Also, the ground cover is too dense in the city and doesn't feature enough cactuses in the rural areas. The problem near Portland Oregon is very homogenous forests when there should be more of a mix of evergreen and deciduous but it's 99% evergreen. Then I tried west of Amsterdam the trees were also 99% evergreen but those trees are mostly deciduous. I'm 50/50 split on this mod. Some areas it does a better job, but in some areas it's much worse than stock. I think in the world overall I'd rather have this mod then not have it. But in the areas I frequent mentioned above I just can't use it. I'm also getting a major performance hit over stock trees especially in Portland Oregon.
REALPHYSICS - DORAND AR1 A2 200 MSFS

Is that plane worth to buy? Yes absolute. It has this magic, this athmosphere a WWI plane should have if it is restaurated. Yes there are some modern instruments in the cockpit. Yeah why not. That is handsome when flying. A good option would be if we are able to click this off. Of course the plane is slow and heavy on controls. It should be because it gives me the imagination to fly an very old plane. The sounds are medium. I would not say that they are worse, but the aren´t good. They should be improved by the developer.
