The 1935 Sportwing was an improved version of Kinner’s 1932 Sportster model. Jointly designed by Max B. Harlow and Robert Porter, the Sportwing features a two-place open cockpit with side-by-side seating, a tufted leather interior, and doors that swing open much like roadsters of the period. The chrome door handles look like they came off an Auburn Speedster. The instrument panel sports a black crinkle finish with burnished aluminum control levers, in the style of the time.

Although all-metal aircraft were becoming common as the Golden Age progressed, this Sportwing is not all aluminum. It was not built for speed records or racing, so the fuselage, made of welded chrome-moly steel tubing,  and the wings, composed of solid spruce spars with spruce and plywood trusses were fabric-covered, the engine cowling and landing gear fairings made of metal. The fabric covered tail group was built up of welded steel tubing, elevators equipped with adjustable trim tabs. The streamlined dural- aluminum gear fairings and wheel pants, plus a louvered radial engine cowling, give it a Buck Rogers futuristic appearance.  Another feature reminiscent of 1930s’ automobiles is the sharply slanted, split windscreen, with stylishly curved side window panels, mounted in a brushed aluminum frame. Most also sported a large tight fitting NACA-type engine faring with streamlined “blisters” for cylinder head clearance which was eliminated on the last of the series S/N 148 NC 14927 (shown above).  A wooden propellor, Eclipse air operated engine starter, battery, navigation lights, a compass, dual control stick-type controls and throttles, radio shielding, parking brake, wheel brakes, chrome plated exhaust collector, fire extinguisher, two baggage compartments, adjustable seat, first aid kit, and tool kit were standard equipment.  A metal propellor, radio, and coupe-type enclosure were optional.  Our representation of this iconic aircraft is fully animated with tool tips active in the VC cockpit for all animated parts.

It is fully compatible with FSX, FSXSE, and all versions of P3D.

SIERRASIM SIMULATION - LA TONTOUTA INTL AIRPORT NWWW MSFS
Jonja
Amazing scenery for the price. The models look great. One small criticism is that there is no interior in the terminal.

Super nice, updated regularly! night and day difference from the MSFS's "handmade" Premium Edition KORD! Just needs VDGS! :D

A must have for everyone, who finds crop dusting work romantic.
LEONARDO SOFTWARE HOUSE SRL - FLY THE MADDOG X MSFS

An excellent addition to MSFS although the textures feel dated compared to other aircraft for the sim.

This includes Wales btw...and it's fine, it's very good even.

Very nicely done. Required if it's your home base airport :)
AEROSOFT - SIM-WINGS GRAN CANARIA MSFS

The airport looks excellent, except I would remove some of the foliage near the runways. I don't remember it being there in real life. Also the default mesh of MSFS caused a bulge to appear behind the airport. After purchasing this scenery it did not fix this issue. Besides that, excellent product.
DOUBLE T - SUVARNABHUMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT- MSFS
LIONEL
The modeling is not at the level of what we can expect on MSFS 2020... it looks more like a recycling of FSX than a modeling made for MSFS. It's better than nothing but not worth the asking price. I hope there will be updates to improve that model.

SIMBITWORLD - A PILOT'S LIFE - CHAPTER 2

It’s the 1st time I review a Sim product. I’m a real life commercial pilot, using the Sim to practice my IFR procedures since training over 10 years. I was hooked with the FSPassenger and since I moved to the P3D4, I only used the Sim to practice some FSLabs A320 procedures, mostly abnormal proc before the real life Sim checks every 6 months :) But with APLV2… I’m back to having this feeling I had in the early days with FSPassengers in FSX. It’s so well thought… I find myself on my days OFF sitting on the computer for hours, practicing new procedures I’m normally don’t in my real job, at random destinations around I might never go to in real life and getting rewarded for it… the feeling of being on the top 50 worldwide -so far-, only makes me want to get to the top 10 ;) and get hired by a 5* I feel with this, the simming days for just practice or for fun without progress in the sim are long gone. Big 5* for me. I hope they continue improving the product adding new features, attracting more simmers to join, that will contribute in making it more challenging and of course, more enjoyable.
