    The Gee Bee R3 Special is a concept modern racing aerobatic aircraft that has never been built as a real full-scale aircraft. It was designed by Italian designer Mirco Pecorari and features typical Gee Bee lines but is streamlined to be a modern hot-rod among Gee Bees. This Gee Bee R3 rendition is equipped with a custom Got Friends' Jimmy Doolittle Turbo NOS Injected engine, delivering 1000HP to 3 blades at a constant 2,700RPM. Designed to be used competitively in racing, she shreds through the skies with unprecedented speed and agility; giving you the ability to do knife edges, flick rolls, hammerheads, 9G turns, and way more! We have also crammed 75 Quarts (10-Minutes) of Nitrous Oxide (NOS) in the rear. Just like emergency boost provided in many WW2 Warbirds, you'll have the ability to ramp up your engine to an additional 25% performance increase to take lead and take 1st during any race! If you're looking for some extra flair, the Gee Bee R3 is equipped with multiple smoke canisters (Red, White, Orange, Blue, and Green), a Garmin 430/330 set that can be swapped out for the GTN 750 (PMS50 Mod Required), and automatic asymmetric speed-brake activation on the nose when you need to perform sharp turns or manual deployment for when you need it most.

    Easy and straight forward to start and a blast to fly! Nice liveries (although a little bit oriented on dark colors) and for some of these there is different cockpit interiors colors. The option for using the GTN750 is a good idea. Wish it was possible to open the canopy and a ladder (or else) to climb in the aircraft which is pretty high above ground, would be nice eye candy. Great work on this "concept" airplane.

    What an amazing little plane if its looks dont charm you the flight model will. The smoke affect works and is on point, using flaps settings to change the colours is nice and easy. Just remember to count the clicks. There are some nice little Easter eggs in the plane rewards you for looking around and clicking, not going to spoil the surprise. The textures are very nice have a good selection of liveries to choose from, works nicely in vr. the plane has had a good flow of updates and the dev seems very committed to keeping this plane upto date and bug fix. For the money well worth it have spent a lot of hours rolling around the sky in it.

    Needs lever in the cockpit to open the canopy and a speed brake lever in the cockpit as well. Other than that it's top notch.

    This is an awesome plane, I expected it to be more manic and difficult but its lovely even for non aerobatic flying, very high quality! Very happy! And first plane with NOS! My only reservation I had at first is that its not a plane thats is or has been produced other than as RC models. But hey, in this day and age people build planes in thier garage, anything is possible. Heck, maybe someone finally builds this beast IRL because of this! ;) Besides, these guys have been doing great mods for us for a while now, time to support them back! :)

    Super advanced and looks really outstanding. A pleasure to fly and the gauges are crystal clear. I can't understand how this developer made such a masterpiece and a big boost in MSFS technology.

    I bought this as soon as was released from the main freeware site and left a review there but wanted to leave one here too as people need to know how amazing this is! Review: Absolutely amazing work from the Got friends team! The flight model is really well done and handle amazingly. Really unique in design and love the air breaks functionality. The smoke works really well to allow you to quickly swap between each of the beautify make smoke colours. The cockpit view takes a bit of adjusting for me and it can be a bit hard to read some of the instruments but none of it takes away from the fun and a bit of practice will have mastered. I would highly recommend getting not only for the cheap price (which when is 10x better than some of the best selling products is just unbelievable) but also because this is just an absolute blast to fly and also to support a group of devs who have given us so much amazing free products over the first year and promised many more.
