located in Tanggetada Village, Tanggetada District, Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia. Sangia Nibandera Airport is managed by the Sangia Nibandera Class III Airport Management Unit (UPBU), Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Transportation based on PM 40 of 2014. Since 2013 Sangia Nibandera Airport has been operating for commercial flights with the operation of Wings Air type ATR aircraft.
72 series 500/600 with route Makassar (UPG) - Kolaka (PUM) PP. In 2018 TransNusa operated at Sangia Nibandera Airport with the ATR72 series 600 aircraft on the Makassar (UPG) - Kolaka (PUM) PP route. In 2019, Wings Air planes have scheduled flights twice a day every day and TransNusa planes twice a day on the Makassar (UPG) - Kolaka (PUM) PP route.
Sangia Nibandera Airport is the entrance to Kolaka Regency which is not only used by residents of Kolaka Regency but also residents of North Kolaka Regency, East Kolaka Regency and Bombana Regency.
