Zion Heliport is located near Virgin, Utah, just outside Zion National Park — the perfect base for scenic helicopter tours and low-level flights across southern Utah’s red rock country.
The heliport is based on a real location, but uses the fictional ICAO code UTZH0. The real-world code (UT70) is already used in MSFS for an older airfield, so a new code was introduced to avoid conflicts.
???? Scenery Features:
• Handcrafted, detailed heliport with custom pads and structures
• Two helipad start positions plus one parking spot for cold & dark spawning
• Enhanced surroundings with adapted vegetation, refined road detailing, and ambient objects
• Remote butte-top landing site for challenging approaches and scenic landings
• Optimized for smooth performance
Just a short hop away, you’ll find Grafton Ghost Town as a bonus — recreated using AI-assisted modeling and then manually refined for accuracy and efficient performance.
The ghost town lies about 2 NM east of the heliport (follow the road east), while the butte landing site sits 1.5 NM to the west at 250°.
Both locations include POI markers for easy navigation.
Originally developed for MSFS 2020, this scenery is fully functional in MSFS 2024, though some vegetation and environmental elements may appear slightly different due to updates in the new simulator.
Explore Utah’s canyon country from a new perspective — Zion Heliport brings the desert alive for rotor pilots and explorers alike.
