Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, is a city full of history and culture, but it also has some interesting curiosities related to aviation.
One of these curiosities is that Belgrade International Airport, also known as Nikola Tesla Airport, is the largest and busiest airport in Serbia. It opened in 1962 and currently serves over five million passengers a year.
Another interesting curiosity is that Belgrade has a rich history in military aviation. During World War II, Belgrade Airport was occupied by German forces and served as an important air base for the Axis. After the war, the Air Force of Yugoslavia was created and Belgrade became an important training center for military pilots.
Today, aviation remains an important part of Belgrade's economy, with several international airlines operating flights to Nikola Tesla Airport. In addition, the city is home to an aviation museum, the Muzej Vazduhoplovstva, which displays a fascinating collection of historic aircraft and aviation equipment.
The lights have been added for more realism in the simulator. They are visible from great distances and across a huge area of the city. Not only the buildings, but also the highways and highway intersections were fully lit. Your flight will be totally different with this product.
