Casablanca is the largest city in Morocco, on the country's Atlantic coast, and one of the largest in North Africa.

The city has a main square, from which several avenues radiate. In general, the buildings are a French version of Arab-Andalusian architecture, white with simple lines, with the area of Praça das Nações Unidas being of particular interest, where the largest infrastructures are located.

Casablanca is also served by an airport, which is the most important in passenger volume not only in the country but in the entire Maghreb region, Mohammed V International Airport, about 30 km from the city center.
