Zip up your G-suit, grab your helmet and strap into the T-33 Jet Trainer! Developed as a collaboration between iniBuilds and SimWorks Studios, the T-33 is a versatile, turbojet training aircraft, used by over 20 different air forces globally. As the first Skunk works project it initially entered service in 1945 as the P-80 Shooting Star, America’s first jet fighter and the 2 seat variant debuted in I948 as the TF-80c then it was re designated the T-33. It served in a variety of roles, from initial jet training platform to advanced IFF trainer to drone director, target towing, aggressors and even flew combat in the Korean conflict!
This carefully designed aircraft brings a new level of realism and immersion to your virtual hangars, featuring highly detailed textures that render every rivet and panel with stunning accuracy.
The in-depth, realistic systems simulations allow you to dive deep into its intricacies, from avionics to engine management. Experience true-to-life handling characteristics and interact with a fully functional cockpit where almost every switch, dial, and gauge is operable.

This tandem beast has finally been simulated to a very impressive level. The thing that really sets it apart from most trainers is the strange fuel management system. It feeds the engine from only the main tank and when that main tank gets low you must pump fuel from the other tanks one by one until each is emptied before using the next tank or you can easily end up venting fuel rather than using it. This makes for some possibly dangerous situations and running out of gas way before expected. Just like the real T33! While this fuel management does require near constant attention it also add an immersive element not typical of the type. This plane should be easy to overheat but that’s not simulated very well, and I’ve not been able to murder the engine yet.
The smoke is nice but the trail it leaves is too short IMO.
The aircraft does behave according to online specs very similarly and is a joy to fly.
The cockpit looks just like real world photos for the most part. Same with the external modeling.
It certainly sounds nice through all phases of flight including stress sounds during extreme aerobatics.
Overall Inibuilds really pulled off a very cool model of the classic T33.
I’m really happy with this purchase and recommend it highly.
