The Hurricane lost out somewhat in the fame stakes to the much more famous Spitfire, but the reality is that Hurricanes accounted for more air victories than Spitfires in the Battle of Britain. It was a more robust aircraft, and its fabric-over-frame construction meant that it was cheaper and quicker to build and repair than the Spitfire with its monocoque all-metal construction. 
 
The Prototype first flew on the 6th November, 1935, and the machine was steadily improved and altered to eventual production standard. Our Battle of Britain Hurricane package includes three versions of this remarkable aircraft, from the Prototype through the early Mk1 two-bladed Rotol propeller version to the Mk1's more refined three-bladed propeller type.

Included models
 
Prototype K5083 - First flown on 6th November, 1935, the prototype Hurricane differed in many ways from the production models. A retractable tailwheel (later removed) no armament or armour and a simple design of canopy and windscreen were some of the differences. This machine was steadily improved to eventual production standard.
 
First production Hurricane JX-H L1842 (Battle of France era) - JX-H was flown by P/O Peter 'Boy' Mould of No.1 Squadron. Mould, in this machine, shot down a Dornier Do17P on October 30th, 1939, to claim the RAF's first 'kill' in France since 1918.
 
First production Hurricane FT-N L1723 (Battle of France era) - FT-N was flown by F/O Patrick 'Tiger' Folkes of 43 Squadron from Ackilington, England in February 1940. It was in this machine that Folkes shot down a Heinkel He111 to score the first 'kill' in WWII over British soil.
 
First production Hurricane JX-G (Battle of France era) - JX-G was flown by P/O Paul Richey of 1 Squadron based at Berry-au-Bac, early in May 1940. What's notable about this airframe is the way that the squadron codes have been painted over. The coloured diamond shape on the port wing was a gas detection device - the paint changed colour when gas was present. Early in the war, the High Command believed that Germany would employ chemical weapons, as it had done in WWI.
 
Early production Hurricane L1584 from 1938 - During this time various squadron marking schemes were being trialled, along with camouflage. This machine has the squadron number 111 painted half in white and half in red and the squadron arms and motto carried on the tail. There was much confusion over the application of the recommended 'day-night' scheme for the undersides, and 111 machines continued with silver grey on all but the outer wing panels, which were duly finished in day-night. L1584 was flown by Squadron Leader Gillians.
 
Royal Yugoslav Air Force - Other countries' air forces took Hurricanes on charge from quite early on in WWII. During 1938 the Yugoslav government concluded an agreement with Hawker to purchase 12 Hurricane MkIs for the Royal Yugoslav Air Force and followed this up with an order for 12 more together with a manufacturing licence to allow production of the fighter at the Rogozarski and Zmaj factories. By the time of the German invasion of 1941 only 20 machines had actually been delivered.
Standard RAF Hurricane Mk1 GZ-L P2921 (Battle of Britain era) - GZ-L was flown by Flt. Lt. Pete Brothers.
 
Standard RAF Hurricane Mk1 UP-W R4118 (Battle of Britain era) - UP-W was flown by pilots of 605 Squadron. Having fought through the entire war, R4118 ended its days as an instructional airframe in India. Salvaged and restored, this venerable airframe still flies today.
 
Standard RAF Hurricane Mk1 KZ-W L1592 (Battle of Britain era) - KZ-W was flown by pilots of 615 Squadron during the Battle of Britain. This airframe survives and is preserved in London's Science Museum.
 
Standard RAF Hurricane Mk1 YB-W P3878 (Battle of Britain era) - A machine of 17 Squadron, flying form Debden in July 1940. Flown by F.O. H.A.C. Bird-Wilson, she differed from the standard schemes of the day in having a 'sky'-coloured spinner instead of the authorised black 'night' variety.
 
Standard RAF Hurricane Mk1 LE-D V7467 (Battle of Britain era) - This machine was flown by the legendary Sq.Ldr. Douglas Bader, the disabled ace who led 242 Squadron and lobbied strongly for the controversial 'big wing' theory eventually adopted by the RAF.

You can see that the author of this airport really put passion into this airport.. The accuracy of the models is amazing. I searched for a few pictures online and I compared them with what is in the game and its like completely 1:1 For example there is a weird wooden thing behind the living containers, and when you look on pictures the stand is right, the barrels are right, everything just fits perfectly. I also like the little extra's he put in, like the hand drawn made VFR map and the livery for on the cessna caravan. I do have some nitpickings tho; He could've made like the living trailers' corrugated steel actually 3d. now if you look closely you can see that its just a texture also there are some trees and bushes located on the gravel which is kinda weird since they dont tend to grow on gravel there are also some models with some nice details in them, like the aviation gas tanks. The way these nozzle hoses curve are really nice Overall this airport is a must have for people who like to do bush trips, especially if you like to do them in Alaska. Therefore I will give this airport the full 5 stars

Very nice scenery indeed, looks great at night, good small details in various places. Lacks a good afcad which is now edited over at AIG Alpha India Group ; ) and also could be improved in areas like the construction site and other areas where building is going on. This is a nicer version of VHHH over T2Gs in my opinion and is also better in regards to housekeeping and the installation.

Nice scenery. Not highly detailed but enough to enjoy it. Some improvements on the civil airport would be appreciated to be really immersive (buildings, flag, ... little boxy, brightness, shadows ...) ; hope we will have a more « photographic based on »update On A1 parking, night, two « sparkling circles» appear randomly in the sky (maybe a specific issue with my configuration), SID available but not STAR with A320 probably a msfs issue.

I wasn't always 100% happy with the Taburet city addons in the past. Also because I'm quite picky. For the new MSFS I decided to give it another try and wow I don't regret it! The downtown landmark buildings & arenas are all present and the textures blend in perfectly. Former issues with non-aligned roads and buildings seem fully solved. Furthermore, I couldn't measure any serious impact on frames. Well done!
CARENADO - S330 FSX P3D

first of all, i have purchased the 360 before the 330. The 360 is very good in all aspects, but i prefer the tail configuration of the 330. I was concerned about FPS because of no LIGHT-Version as is was available for the 360, but no problem at all. Textures, Sound are top notch, the FDE reasonable, slightly better then the 360. The virtual cabin ist great. Overall a great package. It would not be Carenado, if a little blunder spoils the joy. The lower cuff of the yoke is somehow mis-alligned, so there is a hole in the cockpit floor where you can see the ground.

Wow!! What a nice little scenery!! My advice? Go and get it !!! This is perhaps one of the nicest little sceneries I have seen for some time. Ok, it's not FLYTAMPA or FLIGHTBEAM, but it is a well put together little scenery that has all the things you would expect to see in P3Dv4 and 5 - Dynamic Lighting, well positioned and created, good ground textures, lovely taxiway lighting and some nice little touches - Fire Engines in their station, Airport location written on the Control Tower, numerous cars, signs and other bits and pieces to enhance the product and it fits in quite well with the surrounding scenery too! And perhaps the best part? It's only 6 Euros!! It's worth twice that in my opinion. At a time when many of us complain about products for Flight Simulation that are often just a bit overpriced, this is a real STEAL! My first encounter with Project MAX, but if this is what they are capable of, then I cannot wait to see what they produce as their skills get better and they bring more stuff to the market.
