The Constellation, with its beautiful curving lines and triple tails was a product of 1930s America and the headlong dash for superiority in wartime aviation technology. The aircraft embodies the power and the romance of the large piston-engined airliners of this period.
With 11 aircraft supplied in three model types and a complete Flight Engineer's station, radio station and Co-pilot's station, Constellation Professional is the ultimate Constellation package. Models inlcuded are the C-69 Military Transport Prototype, the C-69/L-049A, and the L-049A first production type.
A complete Virtual Cockpit is modelled and the flight model has been tested by real-world Constellation pilots. A replica of a typical cabin is included to provide a taste of what life was like aboard these great airliners.
Constellation Professional has been developed exclusively for FSX (SP2 & DX10 Preview compatible) and makes use of the all-new FSX graphics features to amazing effect.

The Connie is forever a golden classic. Some of the visuals are a little dated, but not terrible and it’s priced accordingly. If you’re a collector or just want something iconic this is a must have! Only 7 actual different liveries and you have to buy add ons if you want more, but honestly it’s lol worth it. The sounds are spectacular! The engines really rumble and give a satisfying sense of power.
The breaks squeal when used just like the real things.
The planes fly a little mushy but relatively fast. More than anything this plane looks like no other and screams class. The one passenger cam view does show off how elegant air travel once was. Spacious seating that give the impression of a high class picnic in the sky with plush seating and decadent detailing. Not like modern air travel where seating is typically a experiment in body packing as many as possible rather than a pleasant experience that it once was. Problem though, the cabin camera doesn’t pan around like say a cockpit view does. You can use combo key commands to move forward, backward, up, down, right and left in a very cumbersome manner. No free panning around and it’s a bit annoying.
Night lighting is very nice, but I can’t get the taxi lights to work.
All in all it’s a great plane, at a really good price that is a nice flyer.
Based on use with FSX Steam. 3.3ghz i7 16GB ram, Intel UHD 630 integrated GPU 128MB dedicated Video memory.
I love the Connie and have used for some time now the freeware version, which is pretty good. I bought this product because I was looking for a better quality VC. The product's sound and flight dynamics equal the ones of the freeware version, the outside textures are better with this product. But the VC is a clear disappointment for a 20,- Euro product. It's not much better than on the freeware version. Of course the added goodies such as a waiting stewardess etc are nice, but at the end, I want to fly that thing and enjoy a superior VC, which is just not there. So, all in all, I would not buy it again. I also find the prices for added paints a bit steep. Of course you get a lot of new ailines this way, but you mostly want just one or two of them. In my case I just wanted the Lufthansa paint and wasn't interested in the other ones. And I ended up paying 8,- Euro for it. My mistake, I know :-(
