INCLUDES FOUR MODEL TYPES AND FOUR LIVERIES AS WELL AS TWO NEW LIVERIES FOR THE BASE PACK AND ONE NEW MODEL FOR UPGRADE PACK A.

(Note - you will need Just Flight’s Mosquito add-on to be able to add these additional packs.)

PR. Mk XVI

NS777 Photo-reconnaissance machine of 140 Squadron RAF, December 1944.

Mk30 Radar

'K' 1 Swedish Air Force (three-blade props) with solid nose. The Mk30 Night Fighter variant had a radar array fitted in the nose. The array was serviced by opening side hatches and the nose cone. Some examples were produced with a clear Perspex dome over the array. Mosquitoes were formidable night fighters, aided by surprisingly effective (though primitive by today’s standards) radar equipment.

NF. Mk II ('bow and arrow' radar)

'TW-Z DZ601' of 141 Squadron RAF from February 1944 when this machine destroyed a Heinkel HE 177. The Mk II retained the machine guns and cannon in the nose, adding a 'bow and arrow' array. The radar equipment was also far simpler than the later NF. Mk 30.

TR. 33

'CW 413' TW270 Royal Navy. A standard FB. Mk VI that had strengthened sides and a tail hook along with smaller wheels, stiffened suspension and a radar thimble dome added to the nose. The TR. 33 also had folding wings and could deliver a conventional bomb load or an Mk18 Torpedo, carried on special strap hangers attached to the door exteriors.

ADDITIONAL LIVERIES FOR BASE PACK

As well as the new aircraft and liveries, this upgrade pack also contains extra liveries for the main Mosquito package (Boxed or Download).

FB. Mk IV

'AZ-A DZ601' Series II of Number 627 Squadron, No5 group, flown by Fg Off J F Thomson DFC , RNZAF , and Fg Off B E B Harris, Woodhall Spa , 28 May 1944

FB. Mk VI

'EE-G' HX917 of 487 Squadron RNZAF based at Hunsdon, July 1943.

ADDITIONAL AIRCRAFT FOR UPGRADE PACK A

As well as the new aircraft and liveries, this upgrade pack also contains an extra aircraft for Special Ops Upgrade Pack A. This aircraft automatically becomes available to fly if you already own pack A or if you purchase it at a later date.

B. Mk IV

'XD-G DK296' series II of Number 139 Squadron, RAF, flown by Wg Cdr Peter Shand and Plt Off C D Handley, RAF Marham, early 1943.

General features

Each model is faithfully reproduced and contains amazingly detailed animated features. The cockpits are equipped with the latest 'smooth' gauges for more realism and just about every switch, button and control lever operates with the mouse – even the crew doors open with the lever! Everything is historically and technically authentic right down to the panel bolts and brackets.

In the bomber versions, the 'bomb room' is equipped with a working bomb sight, bomb-arming switches and bomb trigger. Even the emergency axe hangs on the fuselage wall!

The exterior models are finely detailed, with correct movement for the flaps, radiator shutters, rudder and elevator trim tabs, bomb doors and more. The landing gear is detailed down to the brake lines and hydraulic actuators.

In this package we have provided a good spread of aeroplanes with known histories. For the more adventurous, there is a full paint kit included so you can to finish your Mosquito variant in the scheme of your choice.

Superb animations

  • Sliding windows
  • Opening crew doors (operated with the mouse in the cockpit)
  • Operating clear-view quarter lights
  • All switches and controls in cockpit, including weapons bay door control and bomb jettison are operable
  • Working armour plate headrests, map table, shutter door controls, and all flight controls realistically animated
  • All radios are faithfully reproduced and a working ADF loop system is also included for those versions equipped with the system
  • Fully-featured and functional instrument panels.
  • The Bomb Aimer's station is fully equipped with bomb-arming switches and bomb release
  • 'Working' F24 Camera in PR (Photo Reconnaissance)
  • Fully animated, realistic 'blinking' pilot
  • The airframe has correct flap operation, rudder and elevator trim tabs and the correct gear retraction sequence
  • Bomb doors open to reveal accurately modelled bomb loads and fuel tank systems
  • Authentic texture schemes for all aircraft.

High quality sound set

  • Authentic sounds for the Rolls Royce Merlin

Superb effects

Many novel effects will be included, such as the dropping of ordnance, smoke effects and more. Please note that a dropped weapon will not 'destroy' any objects, as Flight Simulator does not have this function.

I have to echo some previous reviews. The glideslope for 34L seems completely off, and the overall the scenery looks pretty bland at night, and the surrounding photo base doesn't blend well at all. I'm sure DD will address this with patches, but until then, I can't give this more than 3 stars. Definitely seems rushed.

I have virtually all your airports on X-Plane & no break for us & also 2d trees ? Please remove them & get the tree in the picture that's in the middle of the ramp to the terminal Building off. Trees don't grow on concrete walkways ! I am happy to see you guys in the arena but come on if you want serious business.

Great little jet, fun stable and seemingly realistic - smooth frame rates like default aircraft in 2020 ... however lacks good sounds, only an engine, and no other sounds exist. still a blast and well worth the price I hope somebody will add sounds

To be honest I really like this scenery. It's situated on a beautiful spot on Kodiak Island, so default surroundings are already beautiful but the developer(s) did a nice job on the airport itself with it's realistic buildings and nice atmosphere. I hope they do more Alaskan airports. I already have Nome as well and that's lovely too, although the they could have included more surrounding area into the their scenery. but that's for an another review.

Amazing jet, my only complaint would be is the max speed which is around 300 knots.
