The Just Flight English Electric Lightning F.6 captures all the brutal power and awesome presence of this phenomenal aircraft. The Mk.6 Lightning was the pinnacle of the breed, giving you the chance to recapture something of the mixture of elation and sheer terror that faced the Lightning pilot of the 60s and 70s!
The first and last purely British-built supersonic Fighter and Interceptor, this hugely powerful aircraft was a potent symbol of the Cold War and was designed to be on high readiness to launch at a few minutes’ notice.

Having already been flying around in my Aerosoft F5 (tandem trainer) for a while I think has spoiled me a little. That said and trying hard not to compare this F6 with my F5 of another developer too much, I’d say I am enjoying this quit a bit, the differences are mostly visual quality. A lot of the cockpit switches and dials don’t really do anything at all. However the flight model and audio are damn good here! The fuel in this F6 burns noticeably slower which is both welcome and seemingly unrealistic? How would I know though? Whatever the case this is a nice addition to my Cold War era fleet collection and I love having it. Very easy on the frames. Cockpit is pretty dim at night. Sure is fun to go from dead stop on the runway to FL360 in about a minute. Wow! Very cool and despite being an old JF model it’s priced right and worth it.

What a fantastic add on I don't know why it has taken so long for a developer to produce one of the greatest planes in history. all the aircraft are well modeled instruments and guages work well, and the flight control is excellent.
set off down the runway ease back a little on the stick retract gear and like a real Lightning pull the stick back full throttle and climb to 50K in less than a minute.
