Santorini (Thira) International Airport is an airport in Santorini/Thira, Greece (IATA: JTR, ICAO: LGSR), located north of the village of Kamari. The airport serves both as a military and as a civil airport. With its relatively small apron, as of 2018 the airport is only able to serve up to 6 civilian planes at the same time. Santorini is one of the few Cyclades Islands with a major airport.

The airport is located about 6 km southeast of the centre of the city of Thira. The main asphalt runway (16L-34R) is 6972 feet/2125m in length. The parallel taxiway was built to runway specification and is labeled 16R-34L. The airfield can accommodate medium sized jets like the Boeing 757, Boeing 737 and Airbus 320 series as well as smaller aircraft such as the Avro RJ, Fokker 70, and ATR 72. Scheduled airlines include Ryanair, Olympic Air and Aegean Airlines, with seasonal scheduled and charter flights from other airlines during the higher seasons in spring, summer and Autumn. Transportation to and from the air terminal is through buses, taxis, hotel car-pickups and hire cars.

The airport needs to be updated. The layout is out of date and the navigation is not correct.

I intalled this scenery some time ago. This has worked perfectly so far.However, I noticed that after the last SU5 update, some airport sceneries are no longer displayed correctly. Specifically, this can be seen at Düsseldorf Airport (EDDL), when i intall this Scenery LGSR , white lines can be seen on the Apron on EDDL. I bought the Düsseldorfer Scenerie from the MSFS marketplace. It is not freeware. Otherwise, I can recommend this Scenery. I would be happy if Justsim received a corresponding update to the SU5 World Update.

Overall: A nicely detailed Greek airport with a plethora of real-life routes and an excellent atmosphere. Pros: - High resolution, weather ground textures - Well modelled terminal with very high-res. textures - Impressive landside with lots of detail (and even a "JustSim Café"!) - Lots of detail on the airside too, with the fuel station being a highlight - 3D taxiway lights and a well modelled ILS Cons: - Grass could be slightly more realistic as it does use the default satellite imagery as a base

Eigentlich sehr schön gemachte Szenerie. Nur parkt ein Flieger auf dem Taxiway. Ob der dort hingehört? Meine Frage dazu auf FB wurde kommentarlos gelöscht... JustSim eben. Trotzdem bin ich nicht unzufrieden. Muss eben den Falschparker umrunden.
