    L. F. Wade International airport is the unique airport serving Bermuda, a British overseas territory, located in the North Atlantic Ocean. Although usually referred to in the singular, the territory consists of 181 islands, with a total area of 53.3 square kilometers (20.6 sq mi). The largest island is Main Island, sometimes itself called Bermuda.

Bermuda was discovered originally by Spanish explorer Juan de Bermudez, in 1505. For the next century, the island is believed to have been visited frequently but not settled. Intentional settlement of Bermuda began in 1612. St George's was settled in 1612 and made Bermuda's first capital. It is the oldest continually inhabited English town in the New World. Usually known as “Pocahontas” story tale, Bermuda first history was narrated by John Smith.

In 1615, the colony was passed to a new company, the Somers Isles Company (The Somers Isles remains an official name for the colony, named after Admiral Somers, just as Gate's Bay and Fort Gates are named after Sir Thomas Gates), formed by the same shareholders. The close ties with Virginia were commemorated even after Bermuda's separation by reference to the archipelago in many Virginian place names, such as Bermuda City, and Bermuda Hundred. The first British coins in America were struck here.

The airfield began life as Kindley Field, a joint US Army Air Forces (USAAF)/Royal Air Force (RAF) base, during the Second World War. The RAF forces in Bermuda were withdrawn at the end of the War. The local RAF Commander, however, stayed on, on loan to the Bermuda Government, and converted the RAF facilities into the Civil Air Terminal, operated by the local government. When the pre-War airport, a flying boat facility on Darrell's Island, closed in 1948, Bermuda's air routes were taken over by land planes operating through the airfield, which by then was operated by the United States Air Force, as Kindley Air Force Base.

In 1970, the field was transferred to the United States Navy, which operated it as US Naval Air Station, Bermuda until 1995 when the US Navy terminated its 99-year lease and the field was transferred to the Bermuda Government, which now operates the airport as part of the Ministry of Tourism & Transport.

    L. F. Wade International Airport has one passenger terminal, one cargo terminal, eight aircraft stands and can support all aircraft sizes up to and including the Airbus 380.
Currently, ten airlines operate seasonal or year-round scheduled services to Bermuda Airport from Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Five stars It looked great in the screenshots and as many simmers have learned, unless you have a high spec rig you are not going to see a comparable environment. With this you will

Simply magnificent! What a pleasure to fly to this island! I congratulate the LatinVFR team for such a great work and for so many hours of exciting approaches and departures. I used to fly the PMDG's 747 and I have never experienced FTP issues, but I have a powerful computer. By day and by night, everything looks beautiful and accurate. I only have one question for the LatinVFR guys: what are u waiting for the P3Dv4 version release? Please, don't be so long!

Wow the best Bermuda out there! It's 100% Inclusive! It includes - full airport -Full island with all the buildings - moving cars - and more I really recommend this to all its 99.99.99.99.99% worth your $$. The . Percent is because of one little car glitch on the end of the island but it's fine to me because I do not need some little cars. To me I don't really care but get it because it is like the only one with the full island out their.

You get the airport and the whole island. The airport is perfectly executed with all the features you would expect in 2017, even though the scenery is quite a bit older than that. You also get the entire island of Bermuda with what appears to be mesh, textures and autogen. The inner bays and corals are perfectly placed and merged with the general water for a seamless experience. One of their best works id say. The only downside is that the airport is FPS heavy. Expect quite the hit once you get close (~5nm and closer). Volumetric grass and autogen seem to be the culprits but not really an issue on todays systems... again, the performance hit is there so test your settings prior to flying in so you don't get a surprise on approach..

This sis for FS2004 version of Latin VFR TXKF! Wanted to write this review now for a few months. I purchased this scenery back in December of 2015 when it was on sale, and let me tell you it is a bargain!! Great scenery, lots of eye candy and most of all great destination for a quick trip from NYC on a United 737. The airport itself has great detail. Hop on a Cessna and take a tour of the island, which also includes lots of landmarks and details of the island. However, the thing that most impressed me is the approach to the island when on a commercial flight. LVFR has captured that look and feel greatly! The only thing that I missed but I don't want to take a star off, because I do appreciate that LVFR still supports FS9, is any moving traffic directly outside the street of the airport. You do get support from AES but AES lite or something similar would have been great for such a beauty. Either way, like I said it doesn't worth keeping you from buying this gem! Thank you Latin VFR and please keep putting out scenery for FS9. Will definitely buy any chance I get; I have invested too much on FS9 to start fresh with FSX.

Absolutely stunning. I flew from this airport in default FSX scenery first and it was a flat barren landscape with a few patches of sand representing the islands. LatinVFR has transformed it to such an extent that i thought i was at the wrong airport. They have recreated not just the airport but a whole chain of islands complete with passenger liners, rows of yachts in little harbours, houses, hotels etc - literally a whole community. You feel that you are flying over a bustling tropical island and i could easily imagine some Hollywood star hanging out at his mansion somewhere below. Frame rate took a little bit of a hit, but i had everything on max.

Very nice scenery. Low FPS after 20 nm. This big problem.

I am Bermudian, a PVT Pilot,flt.flt. sim buf, and am employed at bermuda Intl. Airport. The screen shots look great except for a few glaring errors, example the departure area of the main terminal shows grass and palm trees, instead of the roadway adjacent to the building. The City of Hamilton , lacks the Parliment , and Catherdal Church buildings which are very prominent, also lack the very prominent Southampton Princess hotel. Good job on te hanger where I work. like the control tower, buildings and very good renditions of the main terminal apron ,and aprons 2,3, and 4 , also cycle racing track next to apron 5. looking to purchase a copy, and will further comment.

The quality is fantastic, However, the performance of the autogen tree's is really poor. Pending a fix for the next update!
