NOTE: Fly the Maddog X forP3DV4orP3DV5must be already installed and updated to the latest version before purchasing and installing the Instructor Panel.
The Instructor Panel, built after the Instructor Panel found in the real full motion simulators, is an expansion for Fly the Maddog X with precise training purposes that will allow you to easily practice and learn flight procedures, both under normal and abnormal scenarios; with the Instructor Panel you will be able, i.e., to instantly position the aircraft anywhere in the world to perform a procedure, inject specific weather conditions in the simulator (such as low visibility/wind-shear scenarios) and manually trigger all the modelled failures/INOP systems available in Fly the Maddog X.
The Instructor Panel connects to the aircraft via SimConnect interface, either locally (on the same PC running the simulator), or as a standalone program running in another computer on your local network (please refer to the P3D documentation on how to setup SimConnect for local networking).
The Instructor Panel software can also be run in a Shared Cockpit environment, allowing training sessions in which one pilot flies the aircraft, while the other takes also the role of instructor, having at his disposal real-time tools for monitoring and analysis. An instructor, running its own simulator with the connected Instructor Panel in his computer, can also be added to an already existing CM1 +CM2 Shared Cockpit session as an observer, allowing a training scenario with a full crew, with the observer/instructor virtually seating on the jump seat.
