INTRODUCTION:

This is the sleek, high performance French 4 seater 'Trinidad' by Socata Aerospace in France. This 250HP Turbocharged Edition of the Trinidad line, the TB-21 GT, was a fast cruiser, hitting cruise speeds of 200 MPH or 180+ Knots. Some were fitted with oxygen systems for high altitude cruising, up to 25,000 feet ASL. She was designed with a very advanced interior with automotive style instrument panel featuring 'instrument pods' similar to the Lotus Esprit and Lamborghini Countach of that era. Even today, her instrument panel design is more advanced in appearence to other manufacturers.

* Disappearing control yoke for visibility
* Opening Gull-Wing Doors like a DeLorean automobile
* Park Mode for tieing down your plane after a long flight
* Opening cargo compartment door
* Uses Asobo high animation, high detail Asobo pilot models
* Manual included that shows you the features and explains flight information and specs on the Trinidad, found in the Manual folder of the Trinidad folder system
* Some cool pre-set 'views' for interior 'and' exterior modes. See manual for information on those
* 3D Instrumentation with stacked gauge parts
* Extreme high-resolution exterior 'and' interior textures in PBR format complete with bump mapping throughout.
* Asobo high end Avionics including their GNS530 and GNS430 GPS systems.
* Soundpack is also an Asobo creation with some incredible sound effects that only MSFS sound systems feature which include bumping sounds, performance maneuver 'groans' from the airframe, and other cool effects.
* Fold up arm rests

NOTE 1:This product is for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator MSFS 2020 ONLY. NOTE 2: This should only be used on high performance computers as it uses 'many' high resolution textures
NOTE 3: IMPORTANT: The Installer will require MANUAL targeting of your MSFS Community Folder. You must locate its destination folder. IF you cannot locate your MSFS Community folder on your computer, you will not be able to install this. This 'InstallCreator' installer cannot locate the MSFS folder system.

* Navigational Elements Restored; ILS and VOR guidance needles.
* 3D Instruments fitted using Asobo pure coding for enhanced frame rates and realism
* Instruments now feature on/off lighting control
* Instruments now feature 'dimming' knob for low light flying at night
* Cabin lighting system totally revamped with improved overhead spotlights and also blue glow light mode. Much improved
* Some wear and realism added to the leather and vinyl interiors. Blue interior color totally revamped for truer color
* Instrument face panels in Instrument Pods are revamped and more truer to actual panels of Trinidads; less shine, redone graphics, crisper edges
* Adjustments to handling and stability when in 70 knot range when on slow aproach flight speeds
* Various knobs on instrument panel redone/revamped. Rudder pedals rebuilt
* Flaps speed and performance Mod's for better realism when in descent with full flaps active
* Retracting foot pedal system rebuilt, active
* Park Mode system now only active on the ground. For those that liked to deploy wheel chauks while in flight, I am sorry.

* New Asobo 3D variable visibility 3D prop discs installed; 2 stages of visibility; fast and slow, sides and front

* Small touchups to mesh components throughout the plane
* Old reddish dusty interior upgraded to regular gray interior with updates

Anforderungen

A High End computer that can run MSFS smoothly is most recommended because this package consists of a high amount of 4K resolution textures. A Strong graphics card with at least 2Gb VRAM, but preferably 4Gb of VRAM and at least 6Gbs of RAM are required. You 'will' need to 'lower' settings in the MSFS to run this plane in low end computers.

You will need to know where your 'Community' folder is in MSFS on your computer. You will need to direct the installer to your that folder when installing this package.

I purchased the plane quite some time ago and have logged quite a few hours in it. Overall I really like the feel of the plane and enjoy flying it. I think my only real complaint is the lack of rain effects on the windshield, a small thing but it does detract from the overall quality of the product.

A really good plane made by a designer dedicated to make the best product possible, the number of updates and improvements this planes has received is staggering. Lionheart Creations is willing to rebuild parts of his plane from scratch if it means addressing criticism and improving it.

Ich kannte die Trinidad schon aus den älteren Flusi und war nicht so ganz angetan von ihr, doch die jetztige Umsetzung gefällt mir sehr gut. Es macht sehr viel Spaß mit ihr zu fliegen und das Flugverhaten an sich lässt keine Wünsche offen.Deswegen von mir volle Punktzahl.

The following updates to my first review have essentially fixed every issue I had with the product. Hats off to Lionheart Creations for working hard on what is now a beautiful addon to MSFS.

Positives:- - Relatively good fun to fly - Quite good modelling Negatives:- - Some really dubious texturing (ex-FSX textures) - No switch sounds, door sound, external wind w/door opened - In fact no custom sounds at all; just stock Asobo - Autopilot is a mess. Glideslope has two tactics; 0 FPM or 1000 FPM - No rain effects on windscreen, when raining outside In summary, a really rather low quality offering. Feels completely unfinished, or like the dev has not yet learned the full MSFS SDK. Too expensive for this below par level of quality. Hasn't bothered with immersive interior sounds, hasn't bothered to map rain effects. Although the textures may be hi res, this means nothing if the base source textures are of such low quality (look at the Socata logo on the yoke). Really feels like a dev just cashing in on MSFS by crudely getting a FSX model pushed into the new sim - in a low quality and unfinished state.

Je partage la bonne appréciation de Steve et de quelques autres. Les mises à jour successives n'ont laissé que peu de défauts. Dans l'ensemble, et me référant à divers retours d'expérience venus du monde réel la version simulée semble rendre compte assez bien - compte tenu des limitations acceptables dans notre monde de réalité "diminuée" - du comportement véritable de l'appareil. Pas un racer mais un grand voyageur, stable et sûr. Une vraie "GT" méconnue. D'une manière générale tout serait parfait s'il n'y avait ce grain peu flatteur des garnitures intérieures, et ce comportement au décrochage donnant lieu chaque fois à une vrille à gauche. Ce qui est pour le coup très-très-très faux. C'est néanmoins je pense ce qui se fait de mieux à ce jour en aviation générale pour msfs. Même le récent Piper Arrow de Just Flight n'est pas aussi abouti. 4 étoiles méritées.

Not a bad flyer, but not outstanding either. At the moment there are still errors with the lights that LH does not seem to care about. I wrote an email and haven't received a response for almost 10 days. For now my last flyer from Lionheart Creation ...

The 4.1 update is a game changer in terms of fps (no more low fps as with pre-v4 version). It is a solid aircraft reflecting well its real life counterpart. A definite part of my virtual hangar. The devs are also actively working on the title (check the update history) unlike some other devs, which deserves recognition on its own.
