From the studios of Lionheart Simulations comes another sleek and fluid styled beauty, the high tech, aerodynamic Diamond Star DA40 'XLS' Edition by Diamond Aircraft Corporation. This aircraft addon package comes with 9 different aircraft registries with variations of interiors, animated pilot, high detail and fully animated virtual cockpit. The DiamondStar XLS features the Garmin G1000 glass panel instrument system high detail bazels, built in Autopilot system, and 'soft light' illumination. To top off the list, this complete, new package also comes in full FSX 'and' Prepar3D formats including V4.5 64bit and the new P3D V5. Textures are 'ultra' 4K high resolution, giving the DA-40 crisp, beautiful textures throughout. There are 9 different aircraft variants to choose from, that feature 4 different interior themes as well. Some cool features also included in the package are flexing wings that move with turbulance and when hitting bumps on the ground, a popup 3d placard, and rear fold down seats.. For those that are student pilots and lovers of modern, new, fresh looking, sleek General Aviation aircraft, the DiamondStar XLS might be for you.
Virtual Cockpit and Instrument Panel
The cockpit of the Diamond Star DA40 has been reconstructed with extreme attention to accuracy. From the panel, to each gauge, to the bazels of the Garmin system to each engine control knob and also the sophisticated rudder pedals.
Soft Glow Cabin Illumination
A soft glow from all instruments that have illumination appears with a realistic resemblance, having a slightly shaded edge to each gauge and screen.
Package Features
New in Build 3.0
- Several new added exterior paint schemes, and existing paint schemes remastered into 4K resolution and new version map layouts for easier repainting
- Package now has a paint kit inside
- Remapping of the fuselage so that it can be mapped on the sides in one shot. This enables a painter to do all the graphics on each side in one area instead of on separated doors and panels.
- 3 New interior paint themes, making it four total and includes NG style dark charcoal, light gray, and tan. The panel is now in 4K resolution.
- High resolution 4K textures on the fuselage and some interior maps.
- Instrument panel texture revamped for higher quality and realism, and now mapped to a single, remastered 4K texture map
- Seats and cabin remapped with dynamic Max technology Ambient Occlusion shading for higher realism
- G1000 MFD map screen how in high resolution
- Instrumentation code updates throughout the panel system
- Installer now features V5 option for installation
- Bump mapping on some of the interior materials such as panel hood and seats
The Diamond DA40 package presently features the following;
