Roads Live Traffic is a modern, polished, fully functional traffic management system, engineered to handle gigabytes of road network and traffic data efficiently.

It doesn't simply populate roads with random vehicles. It controls, synchronizes, adjusts, and directs traffic throughout the X-Plane environment, creating a more coordinated and believable road traffic experience.

The X-Plane edition comes equipped with a complete global road network, ready to use straight out of the box.

Installation couldn't be easier: simply place one folder into your X-Plane plugins directory, and you're ready to go!

Live Traffic Meets Intelligent Simulation

One of the most exciting features is the ability to stream real-world traffic information directly from external traffic agencies through supported APIs.

Already integrated:

ASTRA / FEDRO — Swiss traffic information
Bison Futé — French traffic information

Where live traffic information is available, Roads Live Traffic uses it to influence the traffic environment. Where live feeds are unavailable, the system automatically transitions to simulated traffic.

The result? Continuous road traffic coverage, without interruption.

The days of purely random, uncoordinated road traffic are becoming a thing of the past.

Roads Live Traffic also introduces a visual traffic monitoring system, allowing users to see road conditions directly on screen.

Traffic density is represented through intuitive color coding:

???? Green — Free-flowing traffic
???? Orange — Moderate or slowing traffic
???? Red — Heavy congestion

Traffic lights are also displayed, including their current states: red, amber, or green.

This adds an entirely new dimension to observing and understanding the living road network within X-Plane.
