The Ultimate Live Weather Experience for X-Plane 12

Bring the skies to life with Weather XP, an advanced live weather radar and weather enhancement engine designed exclusively for X-Plane 12.

Experience real-world weather conditions, live NOAA radar, accurate winds, dynamic turbulence, and realistic atmospheric effects — all seamlessly integrated into your simulator.

No complicated setup. No subscriptions. No API keys. Just launch and fly!

LIVE NOAA WEATHER — REAL DATA, REAL CONDITIONS

Weather XP connects directly to official U.S. government weather sources to bring real-world atmospheric conditions into your simulator.

Powered by:
- NOAA Live Weather Radar — Real precipitation and storm activity.
- METAR Airport Reports — Actual observed weather conditions.
- National Weather Service Forecasts — Detailed forecast weather grids.
- Winds Aloft Data — Real-world wind information at different altitudes.

Across the United States and supported territories, Weather XP automatically builds and injects live weather into X-Plane 12, helping the conditions you experience match real-world radar and airport observations.

And the best part? It works automatically in the background. Zero clicks required!

ADVANCED LIVE WEATHER RADAR

Turn your simulator into a professional weather-monitoring cockpit.

Weather XP features a dedicated, cockpit-style radar display with two powerful operating modes.

LIVE RADAR — TRACK REAL STORMS

Display real NOAA weather radar imagery covering:
- Continental United States
- Alaska and Hawaii
- Puerto Rico and the Caribbean coverage area
- Guam

Radar imagery updates approximately every 2 minutes, with an animated history showing weather movement over the previous hour.

Watch storms develop, track precipitation, and plan your flight around real weather activity.

SIM RADAR — SEE WHAT X-PLANE SEES

Flying outside NOAA radar coverage? No problem!

Weather XP includes a simulated weather radar that scans X-Plane's own weather conditions around your aircraft.

Worldwide coverage. Always available. Always synchronized with your simulator's weather.

Whether you're crossing the Atlantic, approaching the Alps, or navigating tropical weather, the SIM radar helps you visualize the conditions around your aircraft.

LIVE WINDS & TURBULENCE

Weather XP goes beyond conventional weather displays.

Wind Visualization

View wind direction and speed around your aircraft using intuitive wind barbs, displayed on a geographical grid at your current altitude.

Enable the optional color-coded wind-speed map for an immediate overview of surrounding wind conditions.

Realistic Turbulence

Experience enhanced atmospheric movement and turbulence effects that add realism and challenge to every flight.

From smooth cruising conditions to more demanding atmospheric environments
