The approach to runways 05 and 23 is surrounded by mountains with considerable heights, making the approach angle require more special attention. Runway 23 tests your ability to perform controlled descents while facing changing conditions and challenging topography.

The airport is implemented with a VOR approach and an experimental RNAV making the approach to runway 23 more challenging, (it is important to READ the manual to use this feature)

Juana Azurduy de Padilla International Airport (ICAO: SLSU) is an airport located in Sucre, Bolivia, the nation's constitutional capital city. It is currently a base of the Bolivian Air Force and was formerly Sucre's main commercial airport until it was replaced by the Alcantarí Airport.
