This is a scenery add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator

In selected countries, this add-on change the default MSFS electricity pylons and add wires between them, increasing  the realism of flight.

Solar farms are also included  

 

POWERLINES

When you fly VFR, in real life, being near the ground leads to lot of dangers.

One of the most common one is the possibility you get caught in a power line (electricity transmission line)

MSFS has powerlines pylons, but no wire between them

With my addon I added the wires between each pylon for high voltage power lines (more than 60k volts).

Please note that this add-on has been designed to helicopters and slow and low flying, on selected build perfomance may be affected with occasional stuttering in more dense areas

So i did them! Basic implementation, but no more empy black-bluish fields

It might not seem like much but this really does add a lot of realism to flights. Mostly during take off and approach or very low flying. Since MSFS20 never had realistic power lines anywhere it was easy to just ignore the wireless poles. Now I must consider power lines near airports everywhere, just like in the real world and that changes things quite a bit.  I forgot I had the add on while approaching Auburn Muni near Seattle and I hit power lines on approach to 16. This add on wakes you up.  It’s also a great idea to get the chair lifts and gondolas as well to fully round out the incredible immersion both add.
