Liege Airport(IATA: LGG, ICAO: EBLG), previously called Liege-Bierset Airport,[b] is an international airport located 5 nautical miles (9.3 km; 5.8 mi) west of the city of Liège, Wallonia in Belgium. The airport mainly focuses on air freight. At the end of 2021, freight traffic reached 1,412,498 tonnes (+26%). Liege Airport is now the 5th biggest cargo airport in Europe and the 22nd biggest in the world.

The airport is located in Grâce-Hollogne, Liège Province, north-west of the city of Liege, in the east of Belgium. The first terminal on the site opened in 1930.

It is mainly used for freight/cargo operations, but also serves a number of destinations for passengers (mainly charters). Liege is located in the centre of the golden triangle Paris – Amsterdam – Frankfurt that handles 66% of European freight, and 75% when taken together with London. In 2018, it was the seventh biggest cargo airport in Europe. Liege Airport is the biggest cargo airport in Belgium, and the third-biggest for passengers after Brussels Airport and Brussels South Charleroi Airport. It is the global hub of ASL Airlines Belgium (the former TNT Airways) and is also used by several other cargo carriers on a scheduled or irregular basis.

Diverses imperfections sont apparues au fil du temps, notamment au niveau de la non concordance de la numérotation des emplacements "parkings/gates" et d'un souci avec l'ILS des pistes 22L et 22R. Contacté à deux reprises via mail, le développeur ne daigne même pas répondre aux questions posées à ce sujet.

After the new update 1.4.1 the performance is much better and good. Now I can use and enjoy the airport. But unfortunately there is a small mistake within the EBLG.bgl. The ILS/Hdg path seems to be incorrect. I wrote an email to their support center. I hope they will fix it. I will give 5 stars when they fix the ILS/Hdg issue.

Bought the Scenery. Looks great but quite poor performance, bad frame rates. Even with my powerful pc. I own the Aerosoft EBBR, simwings Munich, Gaya Sim Vienna......no problems at all. They did an update, but unfortunately even after the update the performance is still not good. Again, its a good scenery but thay should improve on the performance. Love EBLG but I can not use it. There are more such comments at Flightsim.to

The 1.21 update released today leads me to revise my review published on 18.04.23. All the corrections made make the current version of the airport scenery very realistic. However, the environment outside the airport site still needs to be improved. I give this nice work 4.5 stars.

I learned that it is a historical district. There really are a lot of cargo operations carried out here. The MM team did a good job. Unfortunately, most airports in the market are not of this quality. For example inibuilds' KJFK's details are not like this airport . If the MM team had made KJFK, they would have done a much better job. Nice scenery
