MotionCapv.2.2. is a completely new High Precision Head Tracking Software with Six Degrees Of Freedom (6 DOF) which gives its users stable, sensitive, very accurate, fast and noiseless head tracking using regular web-camera and specially designed Tracking Target (see video).
Version 2.2 brings drastically improved tracking capabilities and superior quality!
In a nutshell: It transfers your real head movements into your favorite sim in real time! This means when you move or rotate your head in reality - the same does your in-game person!
MotionCap natively supports following Game Protocols:
FreeTrack/TrackIR Protocol (works with X-Plane, MS FS 2020, DCS World, Falcon BMS, Elite Dangerous, IL-2 and many others)
Prepar3D v.4. and v.5 SimConnect API (including new Zoom feature!)
Microsoft Flight Simulator X SimConnect API
FlightGear Network Protocol
OpenTrack UDP Protocol
With all that interfaces MotionCap supports more than 700 games, including popular MS Flight Simulator 2020, MS Flight Simulator X, Lockheed Martin Prepar3D, X-Plane, FlightGear, DCS series, Elite Dangerous, Lock On series, IL-2 series, Arma series and many others.
MotionCap has a number of easy-to-use settings to make head movements more or less sensitive, and also has built-in stabilization that allows you to work even with small buttons, keyboards and knobs right in 3D-cockpit. The real-time interactive First Person View mode allows intuitive control over the settings.
MotionCap was initially designed to overcome limitations of many existing head tracking solutions both commercial and freeware. It incorporates innovative tracking technology to achieve robust head tracking and sub-pixel accurate head pose estimation with sub-millimeter and sub-degree precision in all axes.
MotionCap was developed by the true fans of flight simulators for flying themselves because no other existing solution could give them satisfying results alike. We have tried many of them before we decided to make the better software. So now MotionCap is in everyday use also by its creators.
MotionCap works great with regular cheap web cameras. It still works even in imperfect lighting conditions and light sources behind you, as well as glares, complicated environment texturing, posters, human faces, tv-screens and reflected sunbeams around you.
Complete User Manulas in English and Russian are available with software installation package.
Stay tuned! We will upload more videos shortly!

When it works its great, but very often when I start a flight, it's almost like the plan is dropping through the earth, the plane crashes (not MSFS) and the flight ends. Really not sure whats going on.
This software is awsome very easy to set up and Calibration is easy too, and great support from the developer looking forward to future update the team also very open to suggestions. really recommended.
Very happy with that tool.
It works very well after I received great support from the developer.
Windows 10 protects some directories and disturbed the setup.
But after this great help it could be installed perfectly and makes a great job.
I 100% recommend it!
A very nice piece of software. The headtracking works great without the nedd for a lot of hardware with USB cables. The only thing a had a bit of difficulty with was the calibration of the camera but that could just have been my own clumsiness. The support is also outstanding. Looking forward to see what future updates will bring.
