About:
The Bell 206 is a family of two-bladed, single- and twin-engined helicopters, manufactured by Bell Helicopter at its Mirabel, Quebec, plant. Originally developed as the Bell YOH-4 for the United States Army's Light Observation Helicopter program, it was not selected by the Army. Bell redesigned the airframe and successfully marketed the aircraft commercially as the five-place Bell 206A JetRanger. The new design was eventually selected by the Army as the OH-58 Kiowa. Bell also developed a seven-place LongRanger, which was later offered with a twin-engined option as the TwinRanger, while Tridair Helicopters offers a similar conversion of the LongRanger called the Gemini ST. The ICAO-assigned model designation "B06" is used on flight plans for the JetRanger and LongRanger, and the designation "B06T" is used for the twin-engined TwinRangers.

Aerodynamic:
This revision of Bell 206 uses custom flight model with additional libraries dynamicallycalculating forces and airflow in background to provide presence of helicopter specific aerodynamic effects such as:
- Torque induced yaw
- Effective translational lift
- Transverse flow & flap-back effect
- Side translating tendency
- Loss of tail rotor effectiveness (at high airspeed only-incapacity of yaw & tailwind conditions)
- Vortex ring state
- Rotor overpitch
- Autorotation flight with engine off or engine on idle (normal and vertical autortation supported)
- Main rotor RPM change according airflow change
- Torque variation with rough collective lever inputs
- Turbine temperature variation with rough collective liver inputs
- Fully functional rotor brake for turbine model helicopter
This is my first time trying a helicopter from MP Design Studio and I have to say it's a really good helicopter all around.
Visually the 3D modeling is excellent and the texture work is good both inside and out. The exterior is very detailed and the VC is really nicely designed, all 3D gauges which all look really good. They have reflections which adds to the realism and the glass effect looks good, lot of attention to details here. It also comes with cool liveries.
As far as flight modeling goes it seems more realstic than most P3D helicopters I've tried, the flight model is very well done. I have a very realistic Bell 206 for X-Plane and this one is not too far off from how that one behaves. All systems are modeled in this helicopter and everything works.
I do have a couple minor complaints. The govorner RPM switch is a little buggy and sometimes difficult to get it to decrease and the instrument light switch doesn't work during the day (though the cabin light does oddly enough).
Other than that, it's a fantastic model of the Bell 206 and I highly recommend it. In fact, it's the only payware level Bell 206 there is for P3D.
Good afternoon, I have had the opportunity to try this product, and I want to recommend it 100%. Physically the helicopter responds very well to the movements that we force on it, and continuously gives the feeling of realism. Graphically it is frame friendly. That does not mean that it is not well modeled, because it is designed down to the smallest detail. The price is very good and do not waste the opportunity to have this product in your simulator.
