Description
Orofino Airport (S68) has a very short runway measuring 2520 x 60 feet and is surrounded by the banks of the "Clearwater" river, making landing challenging and exciting.
Orofino is a city in the state of Idaho and is the county seat of Clearwater County, the city sits on the banks of the Clearwater River.
It is the main town within the Nez Perce Indigenous Reserve.
About four miles to the north is the Dworshak Dam, the third tallest dam in the United States.
