As an avid Microsoft Flight Simulator enthusiast, I was eagerly awaiting the opportunity to explore the beautifully crafted Mumbai Airport. MSK Productions has truly outdone themselves with this magnificent addition to the flight simulator world. From the moment I taxied onto the runway, I was captivated by the meticulous attention to detail that MSK Productions had put into recreating Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. The stunning visuals of the airport terminal, runways, taxiways, and surrounding areas left me in awe. The accuracy and realism are second to none, making every takeoff and landing an immersive and realistic experience. The lighting effects during different times of the day and weather conditions added an extra layer of authenticity, whether I was landing during a bright afternoon or navigating through a rainy night. The surrounding infrastructure, including roads, parking facilities, and even nearby landmarks, is incredibly well-recreated, contributing to the overall immersion of the simulator experience. Performance-wise, I was pleasantly surprised by how well the scenery integrated into the simulator. The frame rates remained smooth, even on higher settings, ensuring that the beauty of the Mumbai Airport did not come at the cost of performance. Additionally, the customer support provided by MSK Productions was top-notch. Any questions or issues I had were promptly addressed, showcasing their dedication to their product and their community. To start, ground textures are great, all high resolution textures throughout the airport which is really nice to see. All of them match their real world counterparts as expected too On to the terminal buildings, they are quite nice, again using good textures to give you the realest experience that is possible! The interiors are ok, they could use some working on, especially for people who like interiors in their airports. They feature some chairs and signs and in the entrance some check in desks, however, they are a lower resolution, which is fine as you cannot see this from the aircraft Night lighting, in my opinion, is where the scenery falls short a little bit, the terminal interiors have a slight glowing effect because of some colours, which really takes away from the rest of the scenery at night. However, most of the other lighting is nice. Finally, it features some static parked up aircraft and some nice exterior details that are always great to see in a payware scenery! So overall, I think it’s a really nice scenery, with a lot of detail especially looking at ground textures and exterior modelling. There are a couple of areas that could use some improvement but I think the scenery is definitely the one to choose out of the range of Mumbai sceneries available now!

I like the attention to detail of the airport features such as custom animated jetways and ground equipment which is native to the airport, adds a lot to the relevance and not to mention the traditional taxis near the parking of the building haha. I am glad someone has focussed on this area as this part of Asia is often neglected. Kudos to the dev for releasing an impressive scenery for Mumbai!

Good effort by MSK for this large airport. I see a lot of good modelling throughout, and they have done some very good and careful work for the ground and terrain. However, 2 issues drag my rating down: - While the dev has done some good effort to integrate the airport into its surroundings, there are just too many flat buildings and structures on the aerial imagery visible around the airport. Amongst many others there is one large area with a sewage treatment plant right next to a runway, all flat. I wish there would have been at least some stock objects placed to fill such gaps. - While many buildings have good detail and textures, many others only have very low-res texturing with bits and pieces represented flat in blurry textures instead of crisp 3D. That is far below the capabilities of MSFS and should not be the case in places that can be seen from a parking spot or taxiway. All in all a solid effort by MSK, but not yet at a level that is comparable to some of the competitors. As such I feel the price is a bit on the high side.
