ABOUT THE AIRPORT
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Napoli Capodichino Airport (LIRN / NAP) is the main airport serving
Naples and the Campania region in southern Italy.

Located only a few kilometres from the centre of Naples, Capodichino
combines intensive commercial traffic with a compact and distinctive
airport layout.

Its position within the urban area, the surrounding terrain and the
proximity of the city make approaches and departures from LIRN
particularly characteristic.

The airport handles domestic and international scheduled services,
low-cost traffic, general aviation and a variety of institutional and
support operations.

ABOUT THIS SCENERY

This scenery has been created specifically for Microsoft Flight
Simulator and reproduces Napoli Capodichino with custom buildings,
airport structures, apron details and ground elements.

Particular attention has been given to the elements that are most
visible during normal flight operations and ground movements.

The scenery includes custom modelling and textures together with a
detailed airport layout designed for realistic airline operations.

This package includes versions for both:

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

Please install ONLY the version corresponding to the simulator you
are using.

Both versions represent the same Barelli MSFS Addon scenery and are
included in the same package at no additional cost.

INSTALLATION
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Select the appropriate scenery version:

MSFS 2020
or
MSFS 2024

Copy the corresponding scenery folder into your Microsoft Flight
Simulator Community folder.

Do not install both versions into the same simulator.

If updating from an earlier version, it is recommended to remove the
previous scenery folder before installing the new version.

GSX PRO PROFILE
----------------------------------------------------------------------

An official GSX Pro profile for Barelli MSFS Addon LIRN Napoli
Capodichino is included with this scenery.

The profile is designed for use with both the MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024
versions of the airport.

It includes customised parking and service configuration, including:

- GSX stop positions
- Jetway / VDGS management where applicable
- Marshaller management for remote stands
- Ground service vehicle positions
- Passenger and service configuration
- Parking-specific GSX settings

Pushback is handled by GSX automatic logic to provide the best
compatibility with the airport taxiway layout.

To install the GSX profile, copy the supplied profile files into:

%APPDATA%virtualiGSXMSFS

The GSX profile files are:

LIRN-bma-AUTO.ini
LIRN-bma-AUTO.py

The GSX profile is optional.

The scenery works normally without GSX Pro.

GSX Pro is a separate product by FSDreamTeam and is not included with
this scenery.

BMA VDGS
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Some parking positions may use the BMA VDGS system.

The airport configuration required by BMA VDGS is included with the
scenery.

If you already have the BMA VDGS core installed, no additional core
installation is required.

BMA VDGS is independent from GSX Pro.

IMPORTANT NOTES
----------------------------------------------------------------------

This GSX profile has been created specifically for the Barelli MSFS
Addon version of LIRN.

It should not be used with the default Microsoft Flight Simulator
airport or with other third-party LIRN sceneries, as parking positions
and airport geometry may be different.

When using other airport enhancement packages, global jetway
replacement packages or airport service modifications, conflicts may
occur with scenery objects or GSX configuration.

PERFORMANCE

The scenery has been developed with particular attention to the
balance between airport detail and simulator performance.

Actual performance depends on simulator settings, aircraft complexity,
traffic add-ons and individual computer configuration.
