Nemethdesigns - Eurocopter EC-120B for FSX

The Colibri EC-120B is a light single-engine helicopter which can carry up to 4 passengers in addition to the pilot. The design of the cabin/luggage hold assembly makes it particularly suitable for widely different types of civilian and parapublic missions.

The first helicopter in its class to comply with the requirements of the new Joint Aviation Requirements - Small Rotorcraft regulations, the Colibri is fitted with crash-resistant fuel system, pilot and passenger seats. Very silent and with a very wide cabin featuring excellent visibility, the Colibri's flight comfort is unique in its category.

This extremely modern helicopter uses a lot of composite materials and is fitted with the latest technologies: a Turbomeca Arrius 2F engine and a new-generation shrouded tail rotor as well as modern avionics.

Im Großen und Ganzen ein schöner Heli. Nur das VC und teile der Bedienung sind verbesserungswürdig.

Mir hat die Freeware-Version für den FS2004 (FS9) schon richtig gut gefallen und ich bin froh, daß dieser Helicopter nun endlich an den FSX angepasst und zugleich in so mancher Hinsicht z.B. Glastexturen und besser aussehendes Panel im 3D Cockpit erweitert/verbessert wurde. Mir persönlich sind bis jetzt noch keine Bugs aufgefallen und weil aus meiner Sicht das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt gebe ich diesem Heli 5 Sterne.

Hier eine kurze Rezension über die ND EC120B: das Außenmodell sieht schön aus, auch der Sound ist gut gelungen bis auf ein sehr lautes Windgeräusch im Cockpit. Aber das waren auch schon die guten Seiten dieses Hubschraubers. Leider ist das virtuelle Cockpit voller Fehler, hier einige Beispiele: - der Standby Compass zeigt die falsche Richtung an. - der Höhenmesser zeigt nicht die korrekte Höhe an. - der Wendekoordinator ist nur ein Bild und hat gar keine Funktion ! - Das mitgelieferte Handbuch ist nicht für den FSX sondern für den FS2004. - und die realistische Start-up Procedure funktioniert auch nicht. Deshalb kann ich nur sagen Finger weg. Die 20 € kann man sich sparen. Ist nichts für jemanden der eine realistische Hubschraubersimulation sucht.
