Details

Kahului Airport (ICAO: PHOG) is an airport in the state of Hawaii, United States, located east of Kahului in Maui County on the island of Maui. It has offered full airport operations since 1952. Most flights into Kahului Airport originate from Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu; the Honolulu–Kahului corridor is one of the heaviest-trafficked air routes in the US, ranking 13th in 2004 with 1,632,000 passengers.

The IATA airport code OGG pays homage to aviation pioneer Bertram J. "Jimmy" Hogg, a Kauai native and aviation pioneer who worked for what is now Hawaiian Airlines flying aircraft ranging from eight-passenger Sikorsky S-38 amphibians to Douglas DC-3s and DC-9s into the late 1960s.

It is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021, in which it is categorized as a medium-hub primary commercial service facility.

Love this airport, it's in my top 3 favorites I have for MSFS so far. Northern Sky Studio's Princeville airport on northern Kauai is very nice as well. I wish Northern Sky Studio would create the Lihue Airport (PHLI) on Kauai, and Honolulu (PHNL) as well... I'd be purchasing both of those.

Amazing detail! An enormous improvement over the default scenery, the entire terminal complex and surrounds are faithfully replicated... the upgraded textures, vehicles brings Kahului to life. Fantastic value for a large scale airport.

Excellent rendition of the Kahului Airport. I'd love for Norther Sky Studio to do all big Hawaii airports as well. PHNL (Honolulu) and PHKO (Kona) desperately need some love for sure!

This scenery of Kahului in MAUI is absolutely stunning, amazing, fantastic and lifelike. I would rate it five starts PLUS. All details are there, even all over the areas inside the terminal complex - and I know about it because I had the luck to see this airport several times in reality. It is a dream that became true to have this wonderful airport with absolutely ALOHA-spirit in such a great simulation. The other Hawaiian airports of Northern Sky Studio have the same stunning quality!!! Hello Northern Sky Studio, PLEASE, PLEASE publish the hawaiian airports Lihue (Kauai), Honolulu, Kona and Hilo too!!!!! I would wish it soo much and I sure will buy them....

Northern Sky Studio did a amazing job! the textures details are fantastic! besides flying I even went in inside the terminal... with flight simulators showcase camera and it was amazing! so much detail I'm definitely keeping in eye out for this developers future scenery's worth every cent!
