Wattay International Airport (IATA: VTE, ICAO: VLVT) is one of the few international airports in Laos. Outside its capital, Vientiane.
Scenery made with Gmax for better performance. All main buildings( terminal, control tower, cargo and military hangars and more). Buildings designed according to photos and placed as the real one.
The airport consists of an old and small domestic terminal and a new international terminal. There is a military (air force) installation at one end of the airport.

I completely agree with the other comments, this is the worst scenery I ever bought from Simmarket. Full of bugs, big black square with a pseudo runway at the threshhold of runway 13, blurry textures, total waste of money ! DO NOT BUY !

DO NOT BUY THIS SCENERY Could be a nice airport, in fs2002 style, but the texture problems and the fact taht you have to turn the crash detect off, makes this a "no go" purchase. But EVEN WORSE, the complete neglict from the author of the many attemts to contact him, and the fact that no effort has been made to make a fix is absolutely a killer. Dont but scenery from ONET VALLEY ever. If any kind soul could make a fix and upload it to flightsim.com im sure that unlucky ones that have purchased it would feel grat again. (the way to fix mentioned in the other review did not work for me)

this addon does not reach the level of normal FSX addons. Ugly trees, missing textures at both ends of the runway, and, a 4NM large area around the airport without autogen and ultra-low resolution ground texture. I can only recommend this addon for very-low end systems without expectations to good graphics.

I'm sorry but this is the worst scenery I ever bought from SimMarket. Totally waste my money. Black texture at both of runway ends showing that Onet Valley was so unprofessional in making payware scenery. Bug like this is shouldn't be happen. SimMarket have to stop publishing Onet Valley product! For customer who had black texture problem, you can solve it by put proper alpha in 2.dds and 10.dds files. You can open it using dxtbmp, save as 256 bmp, and edit it in photoshop.

I bought this cam across scenery and large black squares near Both Ends of the runway, and some textures are blurry. not the answer my emails not to buy.

I wish Mr. Lehto had read my review for Onet Valley's Yangoon Airport before he bought this Airport! I can confirm everything he has said in his review STAY AWAY from Onet Valley until they get their act together. These issues are systemic problem for at least two of their sceneries, not an isolated incident! The photoscenery around the airport is a total blurry mess, the trees and bushes are 2d and look like they are cut out of cardboard. Even with crash detection off your aircraft will rumble down the main runway like it's a dirt strip. Simmarket should not sell their products until they are fixed.

If you are looking for addon that you can easily use without turning your crash settings off this is not good one for you. This scenery has problems with some custom structures that causes you to crash on invisible things if you are having FSX crash setting on. You can turn if off, but as im using addon that requires to have crash setting on, turning them off is not an option for me. After over one hour of removing random files to find ones that cause this problem I finally fixed crash from most areas: Remove following bgl files from scenery´s folder to allow you to use runway, taxiways and main parking area in front of big terminal. This will remove certain objects from the airport, such as approach lights and some parking area lights. However smaller one does still cause crash, so do not use it. Remove: landlight_vlvt.bgl taxibuld.bgl lampout.bgl lamp_liting_1.bgl lamp_frame_vt.bgl grss_le.bgl fence_vl4.bgl Anyway I could still accept this problem if scenery was good otherwise, but it has big black squares near both ends of the runway, and some textures are blurry. Overall this product should not be payware even with this low price, do not buy unless you really much want this particular airport.
