    More realistic surrounding sounds in your flight simulation experience. FS Sound Environment changes and improves all default sounds of FS2004. You will be now able to hear more realistic sounds inside and outside of your plane.

    By default, sounds in FS2004 come registered by Microsoft using only one channel (MONO). FS Sound Environment converts all sounds using two channels (STEREO) at 48 kHz. The result is a more accurate effect for every sound available in Flight Simulator.

    Many sounds have been totally reworked, specially engine sounds for planes used by the Artificial Intelligence to generate traffic in FS airports and skies. Turboprops, small, medium and large Jets have now new and improved effects.

    Thunderstorms and precipitations will surprise you with spectacular effects and you will turn head left or right.

    FS Sound Environment improves more than 250 sounds. A list of the most important improvements:

    unfortunately i'll have to agree to the previous comments... nothing has changed in the game... a complete waste of money :( I don't really understand how this product is for sale if it doesn't do what it promisses..

    Fehlkauf...:-( FS Sound Environment war mein erster absoluter Fehlkauf hier bei Simmarket. Dieses Produkt ist keinen Cent wert. Das hier völlig neue Sounderlebnis ist überhaupt garkeins. Über 90 % der Sounds sind absolut die original Sounds des FS9. Sie sind zwar laut Dateieigenschaften in Stereo neu abgemischt, aber beim direkten Vergleich gibt es null Unterschiede was die Geräusche betrifft. Ich habe mir die Mühe gemacht wirklich alle Sounds miteinander zu vergleichen, in dem ich das Paket in einen anderen Ordner kopierte und dann mit den originalen Sound verglich. Es sind die gleichen und sie hören sich exakt genauso an wie das Original, einziger Unterschied, sie sind jetzt bis zu 5mal so groß im Dateiumfang, was sich bei mehreren hundert Sounds schnell am Arbeitsspeicher bermerkbar machen wird. Eine Datei die im Original 300kb groß war, ist jetzt unverständlicherweise 1,2 MB groß ohne einen hörbaren Unterschied. Regen und Gewitter, das so toll angepriesen wird, entwickelt das gleiche Sounderlebnis wie im Original. Außer bei den Triebwerksgeräuschen habe ich kaum irgendeinen Unterschied gehört und die waren auch nicht gerade berauschend. Ich habe das File mittlerweile gelöscht. Das Teil sollte von Simmarket aus dem Programm genommen werden, denn es ist eindeutig Kundentäuschung was hier betrieben wird. :-( gruss Dimo

    A waste of money, do NOT BUY this product, nothing has changed on my flight simulator. SIM-MARKET should REMOVE this product or REFUND the customers, very disappointing.

    Do NOT buy this I was ripped off, I cant notice any changes in the sound at all, sorry perfect flight, you will have to do better.
