The Dassault Super-Etendard is an attack plane and fighter French , built by Dassault , intended to be embarked aboard aircraft carriers . The successor of the Standard IV , it has been produced on the 85 best placed in service by the Marine nationale, French and Argentina .

The initial version of the Super-Etendard is sometimes referred to in an abbreviated form SUE (for Super-Etendard), while the modernized version appeared at the end of the 1980s was designated SEM (for Super-Etendard modernized).
