# PROJECT WILD WEASEL

### Hunt the radars. Fly the Caucasus.

Project Wild Weasel is a combat flight sim built around one of aviation's most dangerous jobs: suppressing enemy air defences. Fly low through real mountain valleys, find the radars, and take them out, in jets you choose, over terrain built from real elevation data and satellite imagery.

## What you get

Real Caucasus terrain

- The whole theatre, from the Black Sea to the Caspian

- Real elevation, satellite imagery, land cover, roads and buildings

- 33 airfields you can start from

- Sorties from first flights and scrambles to strikes and dogfights

 

Four aircraft

- F-16, F-15, F/A-18 and A-10

- Weapon stations that match each jet's real hardpoints

- Drop tanks that actually release when you jettison them

 

Weapons and sensors

- Heat-seeking and radar missiles, anti-radiation missiles for the radar hunt

- Guns, bombs, GPS-guided JDAMs and the AGM-158 JASSM cruise missile

- A GPS strike panel with a map: click a point, enter coordinates, or take them from your targeting pod

- Working cockpit displays: radar, a NAV map with terrain, clouds and weather, and a targeting pod with markpoints

 

Weather and light

- Random weather with lit clouds that cast shadows on the ground

- Choose the time of day, from golden hour to storms

- Brightness, shadow and graphics-quality settings, with an in-game Settings panel

 

Cinematic tools

- A built-in movie camera and video exporter with sound

- "Strike Replay": cockpit, chase, side, then the missile's view and the impact

- A debrief room to replay your sortie

# How to play

1. Download and unzip.

2. Run the game, open the **Licence** tab and paste your key.

3. Pick a quick start or a sortie and press **FLY**.

 

## Status

This is a beta. Expect rough edges, and expect it to keep growing. Feedback is welcome in the comments and the devlog.

## Controls

Keyboard and mouse. Hold the right mouse button to look around the cockpit (it stays where you leave it); double right-click to reset the view. Press **F6** in game for the guide with all controls and procedures.

 

## System requirements

- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit

- A graphics card that supports Vulkan or DirectX 12 (it runs on integrated graphics such as Intel UHD)

- About 1 GB of disk space (download is roughly 290 MB)
