Bob Dispatcher is a content manager for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. It keeps a big addon library under control and gets your sim ready for each flight, so MSFS loads only what you need and starts faster and cleaner.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Bob reads your addon libraries and your Community folder and shows every addon with its picture.
2. Load a SimBrief plan or type a route in Flight Preparation.
3. Bob turns on the departure and arrival sceneries, your aircraft and the addons linked to it, shows the GSX status for each airport, and starts MSFS with your apps in the order you set.
FEATURES
My Content
- Every addon in one place, with pictures, filters by type, region, country and creator, and one-click on and off.
- Clear on and off state, plus Edit, Move to Community and Delete on every card.
- Groups and a Bulk Editor to switch many addons at once.
- Community Viewer: see your real Community folder, colour coded.
Link Map
- Link addons so they turn on together, like an aircraft and its liveries, or an aircraft and its sound pack.
- Make a link work only for some flights: by departure or arrival airport, country, aircraft type or airline (search airlines by name or code).
- Write links as plain sentences: "When this aircraft turns on, only if the flight goes to Brazil, also turn on that scenery".
- Base packages turn on by themselves when an addon needs them.
Flight Preparation
- From a SimBrief plan or a typed route to a ready sim, in one button.
- Smart airport search by code, city or name, and aircraft search by type.
- GSX profile status for each airport of your flight.
Launch Flow
- Open your companion apps (SimBrief, Navigraph, VATSIM and IVAO clients, hardware and sound tools, websites) around MSFS, in the order and with the waits you choose.
- Presets for each kind of flying, tied to an aircraft if you want. Duplicate a preset in one click.
- Bob can close your apps when MSFS closes.
World Map
- Every airport you own on one map, on a flat map or a globe, with filters for on, off and streamed airports.
More tools
- GSX Profiles: see and manage GSX profiles for your airports.
- Content Editor: edit Content.xml safely, with backups you can restore.
- Documentations: the manuals of your addons in one place, with PDF, text and Markdown preview.

- Built-in Guide that explains every page step by step.
Support inside the app
- Report a problem from the Support page and read our answer right in Bob.
- Tell us how each version works for you on the Feedback page.
ALWAYS UP TO DATE
Bob updates itself. Current version: 1.5.10.
Bob has come a long way since it's launch and my last review.
The issues I had then has been resolved and the development pace has been picked up lately.
BOB now gives me a great overview of my addons, both those I handle by BOB, those already in the community folder, and even those in the sim itself.
I have a lot of addons, so having a good tool to simplify the management of these is important. BOB seems to be the best one to do this at the moment.
Good start of a product. The main issue I have right now is that any time I restart/ shut down my computer the dispatcher needs my reference ID number each time before opening the application. Additionally, I have noticed that if you download a new scenery/ aircraft into your linked addon folder, the dispatcher does not always find it right away. Sometimes it takes the dispatcher 2-3 more resets before it can locate it :(
Be aware of some major limitations when using BOB.
First, the goal of BOB is excellent. Simplifying the management of AddOns and ensuring that only the ones needed for a specific flight are enabled is a great feature. I also appreciate the SimBrief integration and the GSX overview, which makes it easy to see whether a GSX profile is available for the scenery or airport you're using.
However, there are some significant limitations to be aware of. Currently, BOB appears to support only up to 500 AddOns. If you have more than that, you should avoid using BOB for now. In addition, there are many AddOns that BOB does not recognize. For example, it does not recognize the FSLTL Base Models or Injector, meaning these must be placed directly in your Community folder instead.
Unfortunately, there is no way within the application to see which AddOns are recognized and which are not, so you'll need to determine this yourself. This can become quite challenging if you have a large AddOn library.
As a result, BOB works somewhat differently from MSFS Addon Linker. With MSFS Addon Linker, you must create and maintain the folder structure yourself, as well as move new AddOns and updates into the appropriate folders. You also need to manually enable the AddOns required for each flight. However, MSFS Addon Linker recognizes all of your AddOns without these limitations, making it the safer option if you want to ensure that your entire AddOn collection is properly managed.
If and when BOB addresses these issues, it could become a very compelling alternative to other tools. At the moment, however, it is not.
Das Programm vereint mehrere andere Tools die man z.B
bei Flightsim.to herunterladen kann.
