St. Louis Lambert International Airport (IATA: STL, ICAO: KSTL, FAA LID: STL), formerly Lambert–St. Louis International Airport, is an international airport serving St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Commonly referred to as Lambert Field or simply Lambert, it is the largest and busiest airport in Missouri. The 2,800-acre airport sits 14 miles northwest of downtown St. Louis in unincorporated St. Louis County between Berkeley and Bridgeton. In January 2019, it saw more than 259 daily departures to 78 nonstop domestic and international locations.

We are pleased to announce the release of KSTL, over 1 year in production, the airport features...

-Highly detailed accurate model of St. Louis Lambert International Airport for MSFS
-Correct and working AFCAD - 2021 airport layout - functions for all runways for ATC direction for both user aircraft and AI
-PBR textures for both buildings and ground
-full dynamic HDR nighttime lighting
-Modeled from hundreds of photos
-Ground clutter modeled after the actual photos
-Over 100 custom modeled buildings

*we strongly recommend that you do not use photogrammetry when using this airport, some buildings on the outskirts of the the airport area do not render correctly, even though they are not included in any way with the scenery package.

Two stars from me. The airport design itself is pretty good, but performance is terrible. It claims "optimized for speed and performance", but I think this might be one of the worst optimized airports available. Don't buy this, save your money on another airport, or until the developer actually acknowledges their customers and provides some insight or feedback.

The scenery COULD have been greatness but the poor optimization and excessive use of giant texture sheets (this is where your lag spike stutters are coming from that have been reported) is bringing the scenery down to a 2 star. This airport could easily be a 4 star airport if the developer would give this thing an SU9 update, clean up the huge texture sheets and get this airport under 10gig of VRAM usage. This is one of the few airports that completely fills up the 10gigs of VRAM on my 3080 video card. Not even massive airports like KDEN and KMIA do this. I also tried contacting this vendor to inquire about lag stutters and 8k texture sheets being used but got no response.

Nice looking scenery but I get massive lag spikes. I have multiple other add on airports and this is the only one with real bad lag.

Way too much overhead. at just about 11GB on disk, the performance at and around this airport is significantly worse than others. Example: KBOS by FlyTampa looks great, is only 2GB and performs smoothly. I don't know what the differences are under the hood (LODs, texture number/sizes, vertices, etc.) but STL performs way worse than BOS and the visual differences aren't worth the loss of performance.

Terrible performance, download time took an hour. The buildings look decent, but I did find an unmodeled aircraft painted on the ground. For 15EUR its definitely not worth it. Its pretty disappointing considering the price. I've purchased their Nome Alaska airport and was pleasantly impressed, but this one is a no for me.

Really disappointed in the performance. Didn't see the requirements listed that said product was made using i9-10850 and Gtx3070, 32 GB of RAM. Different PC's will vary due to your own Specs. If you don't have a system with that requirements buy at your own risk. Also, asking us to turn off photogrammetry to make it render correctly is a no no. It could be great but is lacking.

I was excited to see that a developer had created a Lambert Field (KSTL) as that is my home airport. However, this airport is a mixed bag. The terminal and surrounding roads and light rail system are nice, and a welcome replacement for the default terminal. I'm not sure if Real World Scenery used their own textures or the default for the runways (either is fine, I use the Zinertek Runway Texture enhancement), but they look nice. Outside lighting is nice at night, but lighting from inside the buildings and terminal are so-so.

I have yet to explore whether "Cargo City" the cargo area used by UPS and FedEx is usable, but it does exist in the airport scenery.

At issue though, is the surrounding buildings and scenery. KSTL is home for Boeing Defense, and all of the nearby Boeing buildings, which show up nicely in the default MSFS version, are now just a flat photo of the roof on the ground. This includes the executive building and all the nearby assembly buildings and labs where the F-18, F-15, and T-7 are produced. The same is true for the Hotels and restaurants across I-70 from the terminal. I feel like this has to be some kind of error...why obliterate what was already usable in the default sim and just turn into acres of pavement? Hopefully, an update will fix this.

Not a five start airport. Modelling is excellent, texturing, not so much. The airport looks toy-like and the night textures are unconvincing. No interior terminal modelling. Does not compare favorably with similar products at this price point from FsDreamTeam, FlightBeam, or Latin VFR. For a major airport, this is subpar.

beautiful scenery with lots of details, day and night. The window lights at night are pretty basic but besides that, 10/10.

Really beautiful and well done airport addon. The airport is quite spread out, but there’s solid detail everywhere you look. Even better at night.
