Known as La Piste des Géants, this legendary airfield was home to Aéropostale and the great pioneers of flight, including Jean Mermoz and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. From this historic runway, aircraft departed on daring mail routes across the Pyrenees, the Sahara, and the South Atlantic, linking Europe with Africa and South America.
