FSIMSTUDIOS - PORTLAND MAINE INTL JETPORT KPWM FSX P3D
Another amendment to a previous review; the developer emailed with instructions for a patch to help VAS, and soon thereafter SimMarket notified me of a new installer. Happy with the service.

Like the prior reviewer, I had VAS problems on approach but reducing the textures to 1024 made it flyable with the A2A Cherokee. It's a decent rendition, on par with what LatinVFR was producing 4-5 years ago maybe. The only shimmering I had was more of a flashing from a few building roofs on the airport perimeter. Under $20 for a local airport was OK with me.

Not bad. A small airport with one runway and limited buildings. Sharp enough in P3D with 1024 textures, colorful, a bit of scenery outside the perimeter, good frames, no significant VAS hit.

It's a light aircraft so I didn't expect deep systems. But there are other issues: -Most importantly the VAS use is terrible, far worse than "that" 777 even. OOMs are 50/50 at payware airports. - The flight model isn't convincing. Lifts off too easily, can barrel-roll at 2,000 feet on climbout, doesn't have a particularly 'heavy' feel. . Sketchy APU startup. - Lots of unclickable switches. A TCAS which shows the location of aicraft close by, but provides no aura warning. - The VC and exterior look pretty good, but the 2D panels look like holdovers from version 1 of this aircraft. Like from FSX 2002 or so.
