FSXCENERY - KTLH TALLAHASSEE FSX P3D

FSXCENERY - KTLH TALLAHASSEE FSX P3D

KTLH is the airport where I first took flying lessons in an old Cessna 150, and even though I have not been back there since 1993, it remains near and dear to my heart. I can't attest to the accuracy of various structures, because so much has changed over the years. But it's otherwise very recognizable and works acceptably, performance-wise, on my gaming computer. I use Lockheed P3D version 3.4 with a multitude of aircraft and sceneries, including Orbx and ActiveSky 2016. Criticisms are: only one season is represented (older airports from this developer have not been updated to provide this; it is good to see newer airport products having multiple seasons), and while I never use avatar mode to walk around outside the simulated aircraft, I did notice that the developer re-uses highway signs from other areas of the country (I've seen this on some of their other airports too, but to me it is a minor gripe). I would suggest making the labels more blurry or otherwise more generic-looking. For the price (and the cause that is getting funded by the proceeds) it remains a favorite of mine.

FSXCENERY - TWEED-NEW HAVEN REGIONAL AIRPORT FSX P3D

FSXCENERY - TWEED-NEW HAVEN REGIONAL AIRPORT FSX P3D

A very welcome addition to FSXSCENERY's growing collection of regional airports. However, there seems to be a typo in the airport name ('New Heaven' instead of 'New Haven') which doesn't impact the usability BUT is glaring and ought to have been fixed before it was released. I am using Prepar3d version 2.5, and just do VFR flying in GA aircraft add-ons made by A2A and Alabeo, among others. I also have sporadic issues (for this airport and a few others made by FSXCENERY) where ATC does not provide progressive taxi instructions...so be sure to have the ground charts handy if you don't already know how to reach the specified runway. Overall, a good value for the price and the money goes to support a great cause.

Anti-Piracy Warning

Protecting Your Purchase

The flight simulation add-ons you are purchasing are legally protected and copyrighted on an international level. This ensures that the creators' rights are upheld and their innovative work is safeguarded.

Why Piracy Hurts Everyone

Piracy undermines the dedication and creativity of developers. When you download or distribute pirated add-ons, it impacts the creators' ability to continue producing high-quality content. This affects the entire community by reducing the availability of new features and updates.

Consequences of Piracy

  • Legal Risks: Engaging in piracy can lead to severe legal consequences, including fines and prosecution.
  • Security Threats: Pirated software often carries malware, risking your personal data and system security.
  • Lack of Support: Unauthorized copies do not receive official support or updates, leading to potential issues and vulnerabilities.

How You Can Help

  1. Purchase Legitimately: Always buy add-ons from authorized sellers like SimMarket to ensure you receive authentic products.
  2. Report Piracy: If you encounter pirated add-ons, report them to the authorities or the original creators.
  3. Educate Others: Spread awareness about the negative impacts of piracy and encourage others to support developers by purchasing legitimate copies.

Thank you for supporting the flight simulation community and contributing to a fair and innovative marketplace.
