If you run a lot of add ons such as ASV, FSk or fly online with SSB3 then this is the utility for you. using WIDEFS in conjunction with a registered copy of FSUIPC you can use your second PC over a network to run additional programs there by freeing up valuable resources on your main FS PC. I love being able to call up METARS, check my FSK moving map etc etc all on my second PC without have to tab out of windows. Great, great product.
If you're going to purchase an add on for Flight Simulator then this is the one. You can not find an application for which you will use for every single flight in such a way as you do with FSUIPC. Nothing and I mean nothing is more crucial to an excellent flight than this module. pete has done a wonderful service to the FS community and you owe it to yourself to pick up a registered copy of this great product.
If you're a fan of the SR-71 like I am then this is a pretty good add on to have. The visual model is stunning, you would be hard pressed to find another model within FS that is as detailed and beautiful. From the fuel leaking on the tarmac to the animation of the canopies and refuel door no detail was over looked. However I must say for $36.00 the panel is only so so. The 2D panel while completely functional is very cartoony and not much better than high quality freeware. The VC, which I am a big fan of, is totally useless with the bare minimum of working guages. The flight model is great and there is a lot to be said about crusing at 80,000 feet while on VATSIM.
