Visually stunning, of course not the most in-depth systems wise but who needs a working engine fire suppression system when you are flying A to B. All in all an incredibly detailed , stable and relitavely FPS-friendly addon.
FPS for such a simple scenery is an embarrassment. Bearing in mind I can run FlyTampa Amsterdam at a stablw 15-20 FPS with the PMDG 737, 747 or FSLABS A320, 4 FPS on final at Malta means this scenery is 16.80 too expensive!
I think this is a fairly good stab at Barcelona... the pros are the performance and the fact the airport looks fairly convincing. Having said that the textures look fairly poor in places and the jetways are not convincing, but that means OOMs are not a concern here at all. I found the ILS onto 25L to be accurate when I flew the PMDG there, I disengaged the A/P at about 700 ft radio and the glideslope agreed with the papis and the LOC was in agreement with what I saw visually. The autogen on approach was slow to load but was pretty decent when it did, and the control tower is excellent, along with the ground markings. Some detail by way of static baggage trucks, pushback trucks etc by the gates wouldn't have gone a miss, either. Overall a solid representation of El Prat... I won't be rushing black to it like some other airports but it is decent, especially for lower end PCs and for those who aren't as bothered about precision accuracy when it comes to detail.
Absolutely beautiful rendition of Menorca! I have been 4 times in reality and the photoreal surroundings of Mahon Airport, and those around the island such as by Cituadella and resort towns like Calan Bosch look fantastic. The airport itself is stunning, the terminal textures are beautiful, the jetways line up perfectly AND the wheels of the jetway don't sink into the ground! The ILS approaches on both 01 and 19 work fine, and the performance is great, with FPS in excess of 30 with my I5 processor. My new favourite destination in the Med!
